The Mo Valley Viking defeated the Williamsport Wildcats in a high scoring affair that finshed 44-28. Billy Thompson got the start at QB for the Vikings in this one and played a great balanced game with the running game and passing game working yesterday.
NuNu buey started off the scoring in the second quarter with an electric pix six that really got the momentum on the side of Mo Valley. Wildcats qb Hassan Brockman was able to connect on a few deep passes to bring the game closer but the Vikings were again just to much for the opposition.
When asked after the game coach Thor Marlow had this to say “Our goal is a championship and the Wildcats are a tough team that we had to make it past. Last year they got our number but this year we dominated the game start to finish. The Vikings now move to 8-1 on the season with there finale coming up at the tomahawks. The wildcats move to 5-4 with the loss.
This Saturday the Vikings will play under the lights in a rivalry game against the Mifflin County Tomahawks. INFO
