In a high school level Ohio-Michigan rivalry, the Muskegon Big Reds made the long trip to suburban Cleveland to take on the Garfield Heights Bulldogs. A defensive struggle ensued, before Muskegon broke open the game with a 32-yard touchdown pass to Demetrius Rainey-Brown. Charles Chatman added another touchdown for the visitors, on a 5 yard run, to go up 15-0 early in the 4th quarter.
But it wasn’t over just yet, Garfield Heights found the scoreboard on a long fumble return by Tyrez Lawson from 51 yards out. King Young added the two point conversion to make it a one-score lead late. With the final possession of the game, the Bulldogs went downfield, before settling on a hail mary that was knocked down short of the endzone. Giving the visiting Big Reds a 15-8 victory.
