NA gets two wins, Lancaster Catholic wins huge battle and more in this weeks Girls Flag Wrap up

Around the state we go with this weeks Girls Flag Wrap up!

North Allegheny rolled out two more wins this week. They took down Mars 64-14 then Hampton by a 19-6 margin. Pictured below are Macy Sundgren and Mia Bosley.


Spring-Ford rolled off two wins this week. First vs Upper Merion they rolled to a 59-0 Win.
Ava Sweeney 223 passing yards and 6 TD passes
Lila Olsen 97 yards and 3 TDs on offense along with 4 QB deflections and 1 TFL on defense
Naiima Bess 1 TD along with 3 pick 6s returned for 110 total yards!
Alexandra Sullivan 10 flag pulls and an INT

Then vs a tough North Penn they got a 42-34 Win
Ava Sweeney 36/45 for 362 yards and 6 TD passes

Kiski Area’s girls flag football team plays in District 7 and is in it’s first year of existence. They have been playing extremely well. In their last 7 games they have 6 wins and 1 loss. This past week they have wins over North Catholic 27-6 and The Ellis School 30-12.

History Marked by First-Ever Win for Cathedral Prep who won their home flag football debut on Sunday, April 19, kicking off the sport for the first time in District 10 history with a playdate at the Hagerty Family Events Center, 19-12 vs. Mercyhurst Prep. Brooklyn DiRaimo had two pick-sixes, while Jessica Beveridge hit Kayley McCall on a touchdown hookup.

Pennridge Girls Flag Football has a dominant 2-0 week with wins over CB South 59-7 on 4/13 and CB West 53-19 on 4/17. Major contributors from the CB South win include- Gabriella Howley with 8 catches, 2 TDs, and 2- 1 PT conversions/ Emma Shaffer with 2 rushing TDs and a INT for a TD on defense/ Madison Lapp with 4 TD passes and 2 INT returns for TDs/ Molly Fannon with 6 flag pulls.
 
Top performers from the CB West win include- Arianne Lauf/Gabriella Howley/Peyton Rabinowitz- 2 receiving TDs each.  Molly Fannon added 4 catches on offense in addition to 6 flag pulls and an INT on defense.  Madison Lapp had 5 TD passes at QB and ran for one more as well.  Maddie Allebach had 4 catches, 1 TD and 1- Point Conversion on offense

Pennridge Flag has a tough week coming up with Souderton, North Penn and Quakertown all on the schedule.
