(It was impossible to find a complete Westfall roster online so many names are left out of the article)

Friday night the Paint Valley Bearcats started out as quickly as I have watched them start in a long time. It started with a pick by Colton Yoakum then on the ensuing drive Carson Free picked up 23 yards on a catch. Then to cap off the drive Braylon Robertson galloped in for a 10-yard touchdown then he hit the point after kick to put the Bearcats up 7-0 just 1:21 seconds into the game. The Bearcats would get their second pick off the night, this one by Willy Wheaton, with 6:14 left in the quarter. Robertson ended the quarter with two runs totaling 31 yards.

The Bearcats would go up 14-0 with 8:01 left in the half thanks to a 6-yard touchdown pass from Preston Fauber to Bryson Dunham and another Robertson P.A.T. The Mustangs showed some life when they picked up a first down on a fourth and three conversion run. Later in the quarter, the Mustangs would again go for it on fourth down but an incomplete pass resulted in a turnover on downs. The Bearcats would get a nice catch by Free for 29 yards. Free somehow caught the pass as he was being held by the Mustangs defender. Robertson hauled in a 12-yard pass but Fauber would be picked by Carson Deskis, who fumbled the ball with Free scoping it up only to be dropped down as the clock hit zero ending the opening quarter.

Conor Geer would recover the  Mustangs onside kick to start the 2nd half of play. Bryce Wickline would cap off the 5-play drive after the recovery with a 7-yard quarterback run with the point-after kick this was a 14-7 game.  Robertson would make it a 21-7 game with his 32-yard touchdown run and another point after kick. Wickline would be stopped by the Bearcats defensive line on a fourth and one try, at the 5;26 mark of the quarter. On the ensuing drive, Robertson blasted off for a 42-yard touchdown run making this a 27-7 contest with 5:13 left on the clock. on the Bearcats ensuing kickoff Gage Wagner scooped up a fumble and scored to make this a 33-7 game. The last score in the third came on a 1-yard run by Cade Hall cutting the Bearcats lead to 33-14.

Roberston would get a pick and a sack in the fourth along with a nice 45-yard run. In all, he would rush for 231 rushing yards, three touchdowns, a pick along with more than a handful of tackles, plus the point-after kicks. The Bearcats would get a Fauber to Free 7-yard touchdown pass, while the Mustangs scored on a 1-yard run by Wickline to give us the 41-20 final.
