IF Only the Political Polls Were as Accurate as the PaFootballnews.com Pros
The first week of the playoff portion of ProTime’s Pick’em Challenge was a showcase for the best high school football writers in the country. They Pros had an 83% winning record. Unlike the political prognosticators who were way off the mark, see VP Harris up by 3% in Iowa poll where President Trump won by 10+ points, the Pros were on top of games throughout the Commonwealth. This week it gets a little tougher as the cream of Pennsylvania football begins to rise to the top. In a tough week two match up in 5A #2 Chester travels to Chester County to take on #6 Rustin, ironically in the District 1 tournament Rustin is #2 while Chester is #7, due to Chester’s weak regular season schedule.
Protime Phil still leads the Challenge, with Matt and Mayhem on his heals. This week is traditionally the week that starts to separate the field, Protime Phil up-Billy down! Another big game is the LaSalle-Prep rematch, the Explores took round one in OT, which traditionally does not bode well for them. The Prep has ripped the Explorers in the rematches after losing in the regular season. The Pros favor the Prep 9-2 over the Explores, for the record give me LaSalle. Talk about a bout of the Titians, the Quip will travel to TJ in a major heavyweight tilt.
The Pros picks
The Joes did very well in week one of the playoffs, not as well as the Pros but that’s to be expected! Will this be the week that the Joes beat the Pros, I doubt it!
