Here we are at the mid-point of the season and the trends continue. Aliquippa keeps stunning people with piles of points and not allowing any. District 11’s Jim Thorpe moves up to third in scoring, while Tamaqua has the lone goose egg defensively. (something with give there as those two face off on Friday). Western PA has three of the top five in scoring statewide, while the east boasts 4 of the top 5 scoring defenses.
