With a gorgeous fall like Saturday afternoon in western PA. and a perfect day for some college football, a large homefield crowd was on hand to see their Colonials take on the Howard Bison at Joe Walton Stadium on the campus of Robert Morris University in Coraopolis.
It was not to be when the Bison took command in the 2nd quarter with a 7-21 lead going into the halftime break and never gave up the lead that they had built on the rest of the way, relying on the offensive line and Bison QB Quinton Williams who went 13 of 16, 170 yds passing and a TD along with 21 yds and 2 TD’s on the ground of the Bison 167 yd rushing attack to secure the victory on the road.
RMU goes on the road the next 2 weeks and begin conference play vs Gardner-Webb next Saturday in Boiling Springs, NC
