A GEFA Mountain conference matchup between rivals took place at Kish Park when the visiting Williamsport Wildcats & the Mifflin County Tomahawks playeon a damp dreary Saturday afternoon, turnovers were costly and would end up being the demise of the Tomahawks who couldn’t overcome the lead that the Wildcats had built up over 3 quarters, the Wildcats defense stood firm and held off a late game surge by the Tomahawks in the middle half of the 4th to secure the much-needed win to keep up the chase for a playoff spot at seasons end. After a grueling hard-fought battle, the Wildcats came away with a 32-34 victory.
