In Casper, Wyoming on Friday night, the Cheyenne South Bison entered the game on the heels of a 54 game losing streak. The second longest in the nation. Natrona County came in to the game after losing to cross-town rival Kelly Walsh in the Oil Bowl.
It didn’t take long for Natrona County to put to rest any idea of a second straight surprise loss. As they jumped out to a 21-0 lead after the first quarter, and a 48-0 halftime lead. Holding the South offense at a bay as the Bison had numerous fumbles in the backfield leading to lost yards and several turnovers.
In the end, Natrona County won, 62-0.
