Across the nation, many teams are in the midst of long win streaks. Notably, Marion Local in Ohio just reached the 70 win plateau in a squeaker of a 20-19 win. The fourth longest streak of the nation belongs to the Sheridan Broncs, who were sitting at 47 games going into their Friday night contest against Kelly Walsh in Casper.
A short 150 miles trek south from Sheridan brought them to Casper and harry Geldein Stadium. Home of the Kelly Walsh Trojans. The game was contentious at first but Sheridan got the upper hand early and took a comfortable lead into halftime. And then subbed out regularly in the second half to easy into their 48th straight victory, 37-20. With Phoebus (VA) losing, Sheridan climbs one spot higher on the current Consecutive Win List to #3..
