Let’s Get to Know Chase:
Why do you play football?
I play football because when I was little I grew up watching my dad play on a few teams. That really inspired me to sign up and stick with it.
What is a personal goal you’d like to achieve this upcoming season?
I would like to make playoffs because I believe our team is more than capable of accomplishing that. We just need leaders to step up on the team and show the rest of the kids the way, then I believe we will be able to make it.
Who is your favorite college/pro player and why?
I would probably say Taylor Lewan because in high school he wasn’t insanely smart, but he was still able to accomplish his goals. He went to college and then made it on the roster of an NFL team and became a starter. He also played through multiple injuries during his career.
What is your biggest strength?
My ability to stay focused when something is going wrong. If we have a bad drive, I can still stay focused on the next drive and what I have to accomplish. Some people struggle with that, they will immediately start beating themselves up over it and it throws them completely off course for the rest of the game.
What is your biggest weakness?
I’m not perfect, I have a ton of weaknesses just like everyone else. I’d say my biggest weakness is that sometimes I don’t see the full picture. I’m too focused on what my task is that I forget other people have their own responsibilities. If they mess up, they mess up, same thing for me. We all have duties on the field and sometimes we screw them up like missing a block or dropping a wide-open pass.
Which stadium do you enjoy playing in most, other than Rotary Field?
Catasauqua’s field because there is a hallway that you have to walk down to get to the field which is pretty cool. They have a nice field and scoreboard as well. It was a really cool experience there.
What is your favorite drill in practice?
Driving the sled.
Who is your biggest fan?
My dad, he’s the one who inspired me to play.
Who pushes you most to be your best self?
My stepmom, she wants to see me succeed.
Does pineapple belong on pizza?
Absolutely not
Sheetz or Wawa?
Sheetz
Do you have a pre-game ritual?
Sit in the locker room listening to rock on my headphones.
What is your go-to activity outside of football?
Hang out at my firehouse.
Describe yourself in three words:
Hardworking, Motivated, and Resilient.
What are you looking forward to most this upcoming season?
Working together will my team all summer, coming together, and having a great season.
Chase is a hardworking unit that is always looking to make the right hit. Be sure to follow Chase as he prepares to enter his sophomore season.
