Coach Adam Rising said, “Collin has been a four year starter for us on the offensive and defensive line. He demonstrates amazing leadership skills and gives his best effort on and off the football field. Collin bench presses 295 lbs and squats 505 lbs. He has a motor on both sides of football. Collin is excited about his senior year and is wanting to play college football after graduation.”

Why do you play football?
It’s always been my calm and peaceful place and it’s taught me good lessons for my life.
What is your favorite part about football?
Lining up and hitting somebody hard.
What is your favorite play to run?
QB sneak is always fun.
What is your favorite football memory?
Probably getting a call from my coach that I’ll be getting to start in my first varsity game in my freshman year.
What was last year’s season like for you?
It was a wake up call. It showed me if I wanted to get to the next level I’m going to have to step up my game and our team play for this year.
Who is the best player you have ever competed against?
Vinny Tagliati (Homer-Center, 2023 grad).
What are your goals for this upcoming season?
To dominate, make playoffs, and get offers to play in college, and to get as far as we can in playoffs.
What’s your favorite pre-game meal?
I never really have a pregame meal other than some snacks stuff. I feel I produce better when not on a full stomach.
Is there a professional player you model your game after? If yes, who?
Jason Kelce was always a fun one to watch and any other big dominant lineman I can learn from.
What is your favorite professional sports team?
The Steelers and Pirates. I just grew up with them.
What is your favorite field to play at?
I always liked playing at our field in front of the fans.
What is your favorite all-time game you’ve played in?
My favorite game to play was against North Star my freshman year. I wasn’t;t even supposed to play, but our starting center broke his hand and I was the next man up. It was a shootout, but in the end we won and it was just an amazing and surreal experience.
Who has been the most influential person on your athletic career?
Coach Rising and Oswald who have always put their faith into me and have been there always to help me succeed, learn, and grow in every way I can.
What is another sport you wish you could play, but can’t?
Nothing really. I do a lot already and there is nothing else I really wish to do. I do like to play pickle ball for fun.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Probably missing the snap count when I played center and everybody went and I was still sitting there.
What are your plans after high school?
To attend college and play another 4 years of the best sport ever.
