Why do you play football?
I play football because it is always been a part of my family and is a way to bond with them.
What is your favorite part about football?
My favorite part about football is when making the big play when the team needs it.
What is your favorite play to run?
My favorite play to run is a concept where I run a whip route at about 7 yards from the line of scrimmage because I usually able to get a lot of separation from my defender.
What is your favorite football memory?
My favorite memory is when I got my first interception against Curwensville in week one last year after coming back from my acl tear.
What was last year’s season like for you?
Last years season was a big confidence boost for me because it was the first time in my high school career that we have made it to the playoffs. Hopefully we can do even better this year.
Who is the best player you have competed against?
The best player I have competed against was Connor Yoder (North Star) he was very hard to read on offense and flew around on defense to make a ton of plays.
What are your goals for this upcoming season?
My goals for the upcoming season is to have 7 or more interceptions and 10 or more touchdowns.
What’s your favorite pre-game meal?
My favorite pre game meal is two ham sandwich’s with a banana on the side so I don’t cramp.
Is there a professional player you model your game after? If so, who?
I try to model my offensive play style after Cooper Kupp and I try to model. my defensive play style after Troy Polamalu.
What is your favorite professional sports team?
My favorite sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
What is your favorite field to play at?
I like to play at our home field because the entire town comes out and gives us their support.
What is your favorite all-time game you’ve played in?
My favorite all-time game is the game against Tussy Mountain last year because it was the turning point I think of last year’s season.
Who has been the most influential person on your athletic career?
My uncle Jerry Donaldson has been the most influential person throughout my high school career. He has pushed me past my limits and I try to play my best for him.
What is another sport you wish could play, but can’t?
I wish I could play golf, but it would interfere with football.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
My most embarrassing sports moment was when I got knocked out my freshman year playing North Star.
What are your plans after high school?
My plans after high school are to attend the workforce.
