Why do you play football?
It’s fun to challenge yourself against other people.
What is your favorite part about football?
I love being able to hit people.
What is your favorite play to run?
Quarterback sneak.
What is your favorite football memory?
My first varsity game I ever started.
What was last year’s season like for you?
Upsetting that we didn’t make it farther in the playoffs, but proud of my team that we did better than the year before.
Who is the best player you have ever competed against?
When I played travel football, the Wolverines (a Nationally ranked NY team) nose guard.
What are your goals for this upcoming season?
To get better and make it through the playoffs.
What’s your favorite pre-game meal?
Meatball hoagies.
Is there a professional player you model your game after? If yes, who?
Not really, I just try to play my best every time I step onto the field.
What is your favorite professional sports team?
The Steelers.
What is your favorite field to play at?
I love our home games so, Meyersdale Area HS Stadium.
What is your favorite all-time game you’ve played in?
My first varsity playoff game.
Who has been the most influential person on your athletic career?
Brett Keisel. When I had a broken ankle he encourage me to keep going and not give up.
What is another sport you wish you could play, but can’t?
Rugby.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Getting hurt in youth football and having to get taken off the field by ambulance.
What would you like to do after high school?
I would like to go to college and major in computer science.
