Farrell 32, Richland 14

On a historic evening, Juelz Johnson scored five touchdowns, setting the Farrell High School record as the Steelers pulled away from District 6 champion Richland. Johnson rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns while adding a 50-yard touchdown reception from Aaron Pegues. Farrell will now do battle with WPIAL champion Seton-LaSalle.

Greenville 36, Port Allegany 28

Rudy Gentile rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns, as Greenville denied Port Allegany a return trip to the state championship by eliminating them in the state quarterfinals. The Trojans came up with a goal-line stand late in the contest to preserve the win.

Aliquippa 28, Oil City 6

Oil City’s season came to an end with a 28-6 loss to Aliquippa Friday night. Qa’Lil Goode’s 100-yard interception return with 12 seconds to play in the half, giving the Quips a 21-0 lead, proved to be the knockout punch. The Oilers scored on a 45-yard run from Carter Thompson with 50 seconds left in the game.

Penn Cambria 12, Sharon 7

Penn Cambria scored two touchdowns in the final 1:36 of the second quarter, which proved the difference as the Panthers ended Sharon’s season 12-7.
