Corry 34, North East 16
Jack Vanchieri completed 25 of 37 passes for 421 yards and five touchdowns in only his second career start, leading Corry past North East. Vanchieri threw two touchdowns of 4 and 52 yards to Tucker Jackson. Blake Cook, who had a monster game with 12 receptions for 215 yards, caught touchdowns of 40 and 36 yards, while Connor Sterling also hauled in a 37-yard touchdown, catching five balls for 84 yards. North East scored on a 44-yard run from Bryson Galloway and a Galloway touchdown pass to Jayden Whitman.
Girard 32, Harbor Creek 30
The Yellowjackets stopped a 2-point conversion with 4:56 to play as Girard held off Harbor Creek Thursday night.

Cambridge Springs 41, Cochranton 12
Brett Kania became the Blue Devils’ all-time leading rusher with 137 yards on 12 carries. He rushed for three touchdowns and surpassed Zach Stafford, who’s now on the coaching staff. Brandon Hoover ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns, while Jon Daley scored on a 2-yard run. Cochranton scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns on Brayden Williams’ 7-yard run and Noah Carroll’s 5-yard touchdown pass to Walker Carroll. Noah completed 14 of 25 passes for 154 yards, while Walker caught seven passes for 73 yards.
McDowell 45, Cathedral Prep 27
Brody Bonsell rushed for 310 yards and six touchdowns as McDowell knocked off their bitter rivals for a third consecutive season. The Trojans held a slim 10-7 halftime lead, but things quickly escalated as they led by as many as 24 in the second half. It was the Ramblers that took a 7-0 lead when DaZaire Carson ran 40 yards for a touchdown. But the Trojans took the lead for good when Bonsell scored on a 5-yard run and Joseph Clark hit a 26-yard field goal. Bonsell then went on to score on runs of 6, 67, 53, 4, and 53 yards for McDowell in the second half. The Ramblers got three second-half touchdowns from Davin Friedman to Matthew Oblich, covering 56, 14, and 17 yards. Friedman completed 17 of 25 passes for 265 yards, while Oblich caught four passes for 104 yards. K.J. Williams also surpassed the century mark for Prep with five receptions for 112 yards. Carson ran for 121 yards.
Conneaut 26, Slippery Rock 13
Wyatt Luke ran for 118 yards and a touchdown on nine carries to lead Conneaut past Slippery Rock. Aidan Ford and Chance Meader rushed for 73 and 52 yards, respectively, while Mason Welcheck returned an interception for a touchdown for the Eagles. Mason Stone threw for 94 yards, including two touchdowns to Alex Paskorz and Brayden Feeney.
Oil City 21, Erie 20
The Oilers rallied from a 14-0 deficit to knock off Erie High Friday night. Steven Heise scored on a 2-yard run with 10:21 to play that proved the difference after Landon Riley’s extra point. The Royals had taken a 14-0 lead on Paul Johnson’s 7-yard run and an 8-yard pass to Davarri Mims. Cole Findlaey scored on a 1-yard run and tossed a 37-yard touchdown to Heise to pull even at 14, before Johnson added a 46-yard touchdown run, putting Erie in front 20-14. Findlay passes for 151 yards, while Heise rushed for 86.
Fort LeBoeuf 32, Fairview 21
Skyler Sadoswki and Dominic Walters each rushed for a pair of touchdowns as Fort LeBoeuf downed Fairview Friday night. The Bison led 14-7 at halftime and 29-7 after three quarters. Sadowski rushed for a game-high 135 yards on 22 carries, while Walters added 91 yards on the ground. Fairview got 41 rushing yards and three touchdowns from Joey O’Reilly and 105 yards from Caden Oldach.
Steubenville 40, Farrell 24
A series of mistakes cost the Steelers during a Friday night setback against Ohio powerhouse Steubenville, as Farrell couldn’t keep pace with the Big Red.
Meadville 54, Franklin 3
Jordan Lawrence ran for 160 yards on eight carries, while Tymir Phillips added 96 on two attempts, including an 80-yard touchdown. Lawrence scored on runs of 76, 14, 7, and 25 yards. Meadville also got rushing touchdowns from Jacoby Thompson, Israel Valetin, and Leo Collins. Franklin scored on a 26-yard field goal by Leo Ritchey in the first quarter. Caden Mincer ran for 121 yards for the Knights.
General McLane 58, Warren 0
Matt Caro completed 12 of 16 passes for 234 yards and five touchdowns as General McLane won their sixth straight game. Jackson Kiser caught five passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns, while Jared Corwin, Kyle McConnell, and Gabe Montroy also had receiving touchdowns for the Lancers. Cohen Beachly and Charlie Bennett each scored rushing touchdowns for General McLane. Bennett ran for 71 yards.
Greenville 47, Lakeview 14
Rudy Gentile rushed for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Cael Thurber completed 5-of-8 passes for 100 yards with touchdown passes to Justin Schell, Hunter Cox, and Zach Copeland. Thurber and Hunter Emrich added touchdown runs. Owens Reyolds passed for 91 yards and a touchdown to lead the Sailors.
Sharon 23, Grove City 14
Terrian White rushed for 193 yards and three touchdowns as Sharon knocked off Grove City Friday night. White scored on runs of 65, 5, and 1 yards, helping the Tigers build a 21-0 lead. The Eagles got back into the game on Gavin Purdy’s 1-yard run and Levi Toth’s 67-yard touchdown reception from Heath Hohman. A Logan Perks safety at the horn closed the scoring. Hohman passed for 78 yards to lead Grove City.
Hickory 48, Titusville 10
Kelvin Morrison returned from injury and ran for 140 yards and three touchdowns to lead Hickory past Titusville. Morrison had touchdown runs of 19, 53, and 25 yards, while also catching a 24-yard touchdown pass from Christian Dungee. Dungee added a 35-yard touchdown pass to Dante Evans, and Marzair Gardlock returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown. Logan Bromley added a 1-yard touchdown run for the Hornets. Dungee passed for 167 yards. Jaydin O’Neill rushed for 123 yards and scored on a 5-yard run for the Rockets. Max Chatman added a 40-yard field goal.
Northwestern 35, Iroquois 18
Brody Bickenheuser ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns to lead Northwestern past Iroquois. Connor Kranz and Keegan Miller also added touchdown runs for the Wildcats. Brodie Mikovch caught a touchdown from Braden Swift and finished the night with 105 yards receiving on two catches. Swift completed 9-of-13 passes for 192 yards.
Saegertown 26, Maplewood 8
William Shaffer accounted for three touchdowns as Saegertown won its third consecutive game. Shaffer completed 8-of-15 passes for 77 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 78 and a score. The Panthers also got a rushing touchdown from Matthew Shartle, who ran for 40 yards. Mason Potosky ran an 80-yard touchdown for Maplewood.
Mercer 18, Sharpsville 12
The Mustangs rallied from a 12-3 deficit to knock off Sharpsville. Kyle Suhrie scored on a 3-yard run, and Rider Chiappini added a 2-yard run, giving Mercer the lead for good. The Blue Devils scored on a pair of Landon Hassel touchdown receptions of 67 yards from Will Vogan and 19 yards from Lincoln Breit. Hassel caught five passes for 100 yards.
Mercyhurst Prep 1, Union City 0
Mercyhurst Prep earned a forfeit victory over Union City. The Lakers improve to 3-4 on the season.

Seneca 21, Eisenhower 13
Rylan Harwood rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns to lead Seneca past Eisenhower. Zach Moats finished the night with 76 yards on 23 carries, including a 4-yard touchdown run. The Bobcats move closer to a playoff birth with the win. Eisenhower scored on a 26-yard run by Logan Penley, who rushed for 70 yards. Caleb Jakubczak added a touchdown run for the Knights and finished the evening with 74 yards on the ground.
Wilmington 42, Reynolds 0
The Greyhounds’ defense shut down Mercer County’s leading rushing attack, as Wilmington pitched a shutout of previously unbeaten Reynolds.
