Sharon 42, Titusville 21

Sharon concluded their regular season with a 42-21 victory over Titusville Thursday night. Ethan Engelmore completed 8-of-13 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Tigers. Engelmore threw a pair of scores to Kare’mez Norris and an 83-yard touchdown to Rakeem Hughes. Norris caught three passes for 51 yards while Hughes caught two balls for 96 yards. Terrian White rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown, while Bishop Root added 73 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Sharon led 35-0 at halftime, and 42-0 after three quarters. Titusville got 58 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Jaydin O’Neill. The Rockets also scored on a touchdown pass from Brody Sellen to Charlie Akerman.

Cambridge Springs 56, Lakeview 6

Eight different Blue Devils found the end zone as Cambridge Springs concluded the regular season in style with a 56-6 victory over Lakeview. Brandon Hoover rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown to lead the Blue Devils. Latavion Fitzpatrick, Jon Daley, Corbin Schenk, and Dale Smith also had rushing touchdowns. Hoover also threw touchdown passes of 30 yards to Isaac Laniewicz and 20 yards to Kaydin McFarren.

General McLane 28, Cathedral Prep 14

For the first time since 2005, General McLane knocked off Cathedral Prep. It hadn’t been since a 35-28 victory over the Ramblers on October 21st, 2005, that General McLane had been victorious over their fellow Erie County foe. However, the two schools didn’t play from 2008-11 or 2018-23. Matt Caro completed 19 of 24 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Lancers. Caro threw both touchdowns to Caiden Holler, who caught six passes for 74 yards. Jared Corwin caught six balls for 58 yards, Jackson Kiser added two receptions for 66 yards, and Kyle McConnell added four grabs for 75 yards. McConnell also scored on a 1-yard run, while Caro added a rushing touchdown. DaZarie Carson ran for 175 yards and two touchdowns to lead Cathedral Prep, which now sports a 3-5 record.

Cochranton 24, Saegertown 14

Walker Carroll rushed for a pair of touchdowns as Cochranton snapped its 4-game losing skid. Noah Carroll also threw a touchdown pass to CJ Shorts. Noah Carroll completed 15 of 20 passes for 211 yards. Walker had four receptions for 61 yards and 11 carries for 30 yards.

Grove City 24, Conneaut 8

Jaxyn Wilson rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown to lead Grove City past Conneaut. Wilson’s 1-yard run and Jonah Stucchio’s 23-yard field goal gave the Eagles a 10-0 halftime lead. Stucchio then caught an 87-yard pass from Heath Hohman in the third quarter, before Gavin Purdy scored on a 2-yard run, giving Grove City a 24-0 lead in the fourth quarter. Conneaut scored on a 6-yard pass from Mason Stone to Aidan Ford. Stone threw for 91 yards to lead the Eagles.

Corry 28, Harbor Creek 7

Marus Meredith and Connor Sterling returned interceptions for touchdowns as Corry knocked off Harbor Creek Friday night. The Beavers also got a 41-yard touchdown pass from Lucas Baker to Keaton Frisina. Baker completed 7-of-15 passes for 84 yards to lead Corry. Deion Candy rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown for the Beavers. Harbor Creek got 108 yards rushing and a touchdown from Gavin Zillman, who also caught one pass for 14 yards.

Mercyhurst Prep 36, Eisenhower 28

Tyler Quinn scored on a 2-yard run and added the 2-point conversion as Mercyhurst Prep survived Eisenhower in overtime. With the win, the Lakers secure the Region 3 title. The Lakers trailed 13-6 at halftime, but scored three touchdowns in the third quarter to take a 28-13 lead. Caleb Jakubczak’s 26-yard run and Nolan Gesing’s 33-yard run in the fourth quarter forced overtime. Vinny Feliciano scored on runs of 48 and 86 yards in the third quarter. Eisenhower took a 7-0 lead on a 1-yard run by Logan Penley in the first quarter. Everett Coterill scored on a 1-yard sneak, pulling the Lakers to within 7-6, before Jakubczak’s 2-yard run gave the Knights a 13-6 halftime lead. JT Jones had a 25-yard touchdown run for Mercyhurst Prep, which tied the game at 13 in the third quarter. Feliciano ran for a game-high 271 yards on 28 carries for the Lakers. Caleb Jakubczak and Logan Penley each hit the century mark for the Knights with 136 and 117 yards, respectively.

Brush 35, Erie 7

Erie High had Brush tied 7-7 at halftime, but the Arcs scored 28 unanswered points in the second half to drop the Royals to 1-8 on the season.

North East 47, Fairview 7

North East built a 31-7 halftime lead and rolled past Fairview 47-7 Friday night. Bryson Galloway ran a 50-yard touchdown for the Grape Pickers, while also throwing a touchdown pass to Carter Crozier to lead North East. Sajeon Lyons and Pascal Laporte also had rushing touchdowns of 15 and 5 yards, respectively. Fairview scored on a 15-yard pass from Jeremiah Bennett to Langston Pustelak-Heynes. Mason Smith-Holley caught three passes for 61 yards for the Tigers.

Farrell 74, Reynolds 0

Farrell handed Reynolds its worst loss in school history with a 74-0 route of the Raiders. Farrell opened the scoring on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Pegues to Carlao Lowe. Juelz Johnson then scored runs of 65 and 40 yards in the first half, coupled with Pegues’ throwing two touchdowns to Jamauri Jones, helping the Steelers build a 38-0 halftime lead. The Steelers wrapped up the Region 1 title by adding another five touchdowns in the second half.

Fort LeBoeuf 42, Girard 15

Fort LeBoeuf outright won the Region 5 title with a 42-15 victory over Girard, going a perfect 5-0 in region play. The Bison got 114 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns from Skyler Sadowski. At the same time, Dominic Walters completed 7-of-12 passes for 105, including a pair of touchdown passes to Michael Vommaro, who finished the night with three catches for 95 yards. Walters added 85 yards rushing and a score. The Bison also got a 14-yard rushing touchdown from Hunter Huck.

Oil City 47, Franklin 0

Steven Heise ran for 180 yards on eight carries and scored on runs of 3, 57, and 87 yards to lead Oil City past rival Franklin. Cole Findlay passed for 197 yards and threw touchdowns of 15 yards to Noah Lucarelli, 31 yards to Logan Heath, and 30 yards to Landon Baker. Baker caught four balls for 90 yards. The Oilers also got a 1-yard touchdown run from Carter Thompson. Caden Mincer ran for 33 yards to lead the Knights.

Greenville 49, Maplewood 8

Greenville built a 49-0 halftime lead, en route to a 49-8 victory over Maplewood Friday night. Rudy Gentile rushed for 111 yards on eight carries, scoring on runs of 4, 9, and 75 yards, while also returning a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown. Cael Thurber threw a 63-yard touchdown to Justin Schell and an 8-yard score to Keith Covert. Thurber completed 5-of-7 passes for 131 yards, while also rushing for 44 yards. The Trojans also got a 25-yard rushing touchdown from Kaysom Materia. Mason Potosky ran for 67 yards and a touchdown for Maplewood.

Hickory 42, Slippery Rock 14

Kelvin Morrison ran for a career-high 245 yards and four touchdowns to lead Hickory past Slippery Rock. Morrison went over 1,000 yards rushing despite missing two games with injuries. Hickory also wrapped up the Region 4 title. Luke Lewis and Christian Dungee also had rushing touchdowns of 1 and 6 yards. Slippery Rock scored on a 78-yard kickoff return by Owen Long and a 1-yard run by Kole Scott.

Seneca 41, Iroquois 14

Seneca won their third straight contest, 41-14 over Iroquois. Stats will be posted later when they become available.

Steubenville 36, McDowell 13

McDowell got a pair of field goals from Joseph Clark and a touchdown pass from Evan Kuhn, but the Trojans were no match for Steubenville as the Big Red built a 28-0 first-half lead and cruised to a mercy rule victory. Santino Henry completed 12-of-20 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns, both to Ziare Scurry, who finished with 111 yards on seven receptions. Ca’juan Bryant ran for 106 yards, while James Turner had a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs.

Meadville 54, Warren 7

Tymir Phillips scored five touchdowns, including returning the opening kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown, to lead Meadville past Warren. Phillips then caught touchdowns of 47, 24, 9, and 25 yards from Jacoby Thompson. Jordan Lawrence scored on a 25-yard run for the Bulldogs, while Keithen Arnold returned a fumble 19 yards for a touchdown. Thompson completed 6-of-7 passes for 151 yards and five touchdowns, while Lawrence ran for 198 yards. Warren scored on a 21-yard pass from Charlie Blum to Austin Fiscus. The Dragons got 113 yards rushing from Ayden Corbett.

Northwestern 48, Union City 0

Braden Swift completed 8-of-12 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing three times for 61 yards and two scores to lead Northwestern past Union City. Swift threw a 73-yard touchdown to Reese Gonzales, who finished the night with three receptions for 91 yards. Gonzales also scored on a 10-yard run, while Brody Bickenheuser added 67 yards on five carries and a touchdown. The Wildcats also got a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown by Joe Holdsworth.

Wilmington 51, Sharpsville 7

Chase Mitcheltree rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns, scoring on runs of 6, 50, and 12 yards, while also catching a 26-yard touchdown pass from Wesley Vas-Gal. Vas-Gal also threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Freddie Zehetner. Cam and Cael Kettering had had touchdown runs of 2 and 14 yards, respectively. Sharpsville scored on a 6-yard run by Geno Currie in the fourth quarter.
