Game of the Week: Once again we’ll go with two. The first one found Punxsy coming back in the fourth quarter against Central Clarion to stay undefeated by beating the Wildcats 24-21. The game was back and forth, but the Chucks found a way to score 10 points in the last quarter, the final three and game winning margin came on a field goal by Owen Roken with less than three minutes left in the contest.
Clearfield was involved in the other game of the week. The Bison led 15-0 at halftime, only to have Bellefonte come back and tie the game in the 4th quarter. Then the Bison had to block the potential game winning field goal try to send the game into overtime. Clearfield then got the winning score when Zavier Curry found paydirt after Bellefonte kicked a field goal in overtime to take the short-lived lead. The final score was Clearfield 21 Bellefonte 18.
Upcoming Game of the Week:
- Punxsutawney 4-0 @ Karns City 3-1
