Head Coach Ryan Donaldson said, “Lance is gearing up for his senior season as a 2-year returning starter at quarterback, as well as a 3-year returning starter at defensive back. Lance brings to the table everything you ask for from a high school quarterback. Lance’s leadership, intelligence, command of the huddle, and ability to be “a coach on the field” has been nothing short of top-notch for our program.”

Why do you play football?
I play football because I like the toughness it takes to play and the relationship I make with the team.
What is your favorite part about football?
Favorite part about football is coming together as a team and seeing what you can accomplish.
What is your favorite play to run?
Favorite play to run is a middle of the field passing concept.
What is your favorite football memory?
One of my favorite football memories is staying the night at camp and hanging out with the guys.
What was last year’s season like for you?
Last year’s season was a year of development and building confidence.
Who is the best player you have ever competed against?
Best player I competed against is Aaron Bowers from NBC
Which team is your biggest rival and gets you the most excited when playing them?
I really don’t have a rival I get excited to play against I try to treat every game the same.
What are your goals for this upcoming season?
Win Districts
What’s your favorite pre-game meal?
Favorite pre game meal is steak and some veggies
Is there a professional player you model your game after? If yes, who?
I like the way Tom Brady prepared for his game and his mindset on competing.
What is your favorite professional sports team?
Pittsburgh Steelers
What is your favorite field to play at?
Favorite field to play at is Meyersdale
What is your favorite all-time game you’ve played in?
North Star last year
Who has been the most influential person on your athletic career?
The most influential person on my athletic career is my dad
What is another sport you wish you could play, but can’t?
Golf
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Throwing a pick six and getting run over in the same play
What are your plans after high school?
Attend college to play a sport and become a state trooper
