Coach says, “Since his sophomore season, Logan has played a pivotal role within our football program. He has evolved into a leader, both on the field and within the community. In addition to being an exemplary student and individual, what truly sets him apart is his unwavering work ethic. Logan trains with a level of intensity that surpasses that of his peers. As was the case in the previous year, Logan will be relied upon to anchor our offensive and defensive lines this season. It has been an honor to coach Logan due to his selflessness, resilience, and coachability. His absence will be greatly felt following this season.”

Let’s get to know Logan:

Why do you play football?

I love the game, I love to compete, and I love my brothers.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

TJ Watt because he gives 100% all the time and shows his true love for the game.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

Last year against Bald Eagle when on the first play of the game I had a TFL 6 yards in the backfield. This set the tone of the game for my entire team.

What was last year’s season like for you?

Good, I moved to D-end during two a days for my team and quickly learned. I played a pivotal role there as well as starting on the offensive line and winning Hammer of the Year.

What are your goals for this coming season?

Become All-State and win a district title, using that momentum to make a state run.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Brady Collins. He really hit the hole well so everyone had to play their gap perfectly.

Describe what the perfect teammate is:

Someone who always shows up even if they don’t feel the best and leads by example. This person is unbreakable when beside you on a Friday night, but will also do anything to help you outside of football.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

No other sport brings so many people together in one stadium, so football just bonds a community together while cheering on their team, win or loss.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Make it to the NFL.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? Why?

My sister, she showed me what it takes and how you have to work your tail off to get where you want to be.

What is your favorite practice drill?

Lev Sled and Tackling

What is your least favorite practice drill?

Assault bikes

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Hunting and fishing, as they connect me with nature and allow me to relax most of the time with my friends.

What is your favorite meal?

Venison backstrap.

What is special about your football program?

We’ve gone through ups and downs, but we all stayed together and we try to train in a way that is different than most.
