COACH SAYS:
Christian is one of our hardest working kids on the team and when it comes to practice, lift or film, he is nothing but business and takes everything very seriously and professionally. His size and athleticism will be a great asset for both on the offensive and defensive line. Look forward to watching him and be a leader for our team as a Captain.

GETTING TO KNOW CHRISTIAN:
How long have you been playing football?
I have played football since I was 4 years old, however I took a break from it from 7th to 10th grade.
What got you interested in playing football?
Our head coach at the time said he saw potential in me and that I would have a good career in the sport.
Do you have any players or people that you would consider a role model?
I don’t model my game after any players, my coaches and my family are my role models.
How do you usually prepare yourself for gameday outside of practice?
I study film all week on the team to see things like how they block and what their favorite moves on defense and offense are. I will also study our film from the week before to see what I can improve on offense and defense. On game day I listen to music and I visualize myself on what I am going to do during a certain play, whether it’s offense or defense.
What is the end goal of your football career?
I want to play football in college and after that I don’t know yet, it depends on how good I become in the future.
How do you think your role and leadership on the team has changed now that you are going to be a senior?
This year I have gained a lot more respect from my teammates because of my leadership and my determination to better this team as well as myself.
Have you learned anything about life through football?
I have learned to always get back up no matter how hard I have been hit in football or life, and to always look forward.
As an athlete what has been your greatest accomplishment?
Last year I won practice player of the year due to my hard work, dedication, leadership, and my passion for the sport I love.
Do you have a favorite moment with the team or play that you remember from your high school career?
My sack against Bloomsburg last year. It was electric all throughout the stadium, I will never forget it.
How do you try to gain an advantage over other players?
I use my speed, strength, and agility to keep the other players guessing what I am gonna do.
What do you do for fun when you’re not playing football?
I watch film on myself to see what I can do to improve, I workout everyday, I go golfing, and I hangout with friends and family.
What is your favorite pre-game song?
Crazy Story by King Von.
What is one of your favorite TV shows or movies that you enjoy watching?
My favorite TV show is Dexter.
What’s your go to snack and drink when you go to a gas station?
Hersheys and Gatorade.
What would be your dream job (outside of being a football player)?
