Don’t let last years 7-5 record fool you. The Steelers have one of the toughest schedules in the state. Normally a 1A school, Farrell’s schedule is packed with powerhouses like Hickory, Ursuline, Steubenville, Sharon, Wilmingtown, Cathedral Prep and Sharpsville. All those teams will likely be contenders in their areas. The trick for Farrell is not to fold due to losses to larger teams, but to come together and learn. We aren’t guaranteeing they’ll lose those games either. This is a LOADED Farrell team that last year nearly beat Hickory, Fort LeBoeuf, Sharon and Cathedral Prep before running into a Central Clarion team that was on a mission. All those losses were one score losses.
