| We need to create a competitive and physical atmosphere in our program. We need to create competition in every situation, so that our players are prepared to compete on every play. This competitiveness will create our players ready to play downhill/physical in every game. Having a lot of players returning from last year we expect to result in them having more confident in themselves and their teammates. This should result in them having that attitude that leads to more physical play in all 3 aspects of the game. Offensively, we need to run the football. We will use multiple formations to create the angles/advantages to run the football first, then use play-action, screens and our passing game to make us a difficult offense to defend. Defensively, we will use multiple fronts to create advantages where we can play downhill/physical football play-in and play-out. Our special teams need to create an advantage. We will use multiple ways to do this as an additional way offensive and defensive situations.
