| “Despite losing a large senior class full of starters and key role players, I expect us to continue to compete at a high level. We return talented skill players who have seen some varsity time and others who thrived at the JV level last year. We also return our entire offensive line for the first time in my 13-year coaching career, along with the reigning YAIAA Division 3 Offensive Player of the Year in RB Aidan Hoffman. There are some question marks in regards to filling in the holes in the defensive front 7, but the defense will be helped by returning 3 of 4 starters in the secondary that played very well last year. The goal for this team is to be in contention for a league title as well as a playoff berth as we enter the last few weeks of the season. It is an exciting time to be a Canner, and we can’t wait to get started!”
