2025 Schedule
Season Outlook |
“Like so many previous years, Bucktail will be a run-heavy team this year. They will likely be starting a freshman at QB (Corbin Pentz). Every skill position will have an underclassman starting. The line will be anchored by four-year starter Evan Ransom and three-year starter Jayden Barnes. Both are capable of holding their own against most defensive lineman. Tegan Stone returns for his Sophomore year. He was the Bucks leading receiver until an injury sidelined him for the season in week 7. Aidan Ditty will look to take a step forward and become a leader on offense and defense. Bucktail lost only 5 seniors last year (including all-state Linebacker Brody Pentz) but will still be young. It is possible they will only start 2-3 seniors on offense.
Defensively, the Bucks will look to improve after repeated seasons of giving up 30+ plus poimnts per game. The addition of Corbin Pentz, JJ Ditty, Eli Barnt and Nick Dennis should help in that effort. Those that cover Bucktail Football should get use to the names Tegan Stone and Corbin Pentz. They are going to be a problem for opposing defenses over the next couple years. Aidan Ditty is quitely really good and Evan Ransom is looking to make his mark during his senior year by being the best lineman in the league while making all-state. The team is motivated and ready to work. Size, experience and numbers may stand in the way of victories but the effort will be clear! Only suiting 20-25 kids makes for some unique challenges however this is nothing that Bucktail is not use to.” |
