| “We lost some great players from the 2024 State Semi-Finalist team, including the Class A Player of the Year in Austin Johnson. We have some really good players returning and a group of young players who are excited to continue working to be the best program we can be. With the new staff, we are installing a new offense, and we are trying to get them acclimated to that as quickly as we can. We feel that the mix of players we have returning, along with those that are expected to contribute this year, we will have a chance to be successful. They have been working hard all summer, and with having a scrimmage and opening game against two excellent teams, we will need to be ready sooner rather than later.”
