Season Outlook

We’re excited to kick off the 2025 season with a strong group of returning players who bring experience, leadership, and a relentless work ethic to our program. Coming off a 10-3 season, our expectations remain high. We’ve built a winning culture here at Richland, and this group is committed to continuing that tradition.

Offensively, we return our starting quarterback, Jake Regan (5-10, 175), who took major strides last season. He’s a tough, smart leader who understands our offense and plays with poise. Surrounding him is a talented core of skill players, including Jamere Christian (5-9, 160) and Arnold Mugerwa (6-3, 205), two explosive athletes who can change the game on both sides of the ball. Joe McAneny (6-2, 210) and Brayden Knepper (5-10, 180) give us a physical, reliable one-two punch in the backfield, and Grayson Mahla (5-9, 190) is a versatile player who can line up anywhere and make an impact.

Our success always starts up front, and I really like what we return on the offensive and defensive lines. Brodie Hollis (6-0, 265), Matt Hostetler (6-0, 235), and Ashton Roberts (6-0, 215) bring toughness and experience in the trenches. They’ll be the foundation of everything we do. Nate Pugh (6-0, 185) is another key returner who gives us strength at tight end and athleticism at linebacker.

Defensively, we pride ourselves on being fast, physical, and disciplined. With so many starters returning, we expect this unit to be a strength. Our guys understand what it takes to play at a high level, and they’ve shown great commitment throughout the offseason.

This team is hungry. They’ve experienced playoff football, and they understand the standard we hold ourselves to. Our focus is on getting better every day, competing at the highest level, and representing the Richland community with pride.
