1) York High at Central York– Probably the game of the year in this area. 9-0 Central York vs. 7-1 York High. Oh by the way they hate each other and it is a huge rivalry. This game features 2 talented Quarterbacks in Sam Stoner and Beau Pribula. Plus several other talented players. Central York is hoping to win this to keep the top seed in the playoffs and York High is currently the 4 seed and hoping to move up with a big win.

Key to Victory– Who can stop the other offense? Central York is averaging a crazy 44 points per game. York High is averaging 49 points per game. Whatever defense can get stops and create turnovers will have a good chance to win it. Even 2 or 3 big stops can make a big difference in a game like this.

One more note: I will be covering this game. You can follow me on Twitter at @footballcoach79

2) Manheim Central vs Cocalico– Game of the year number 2. Rivalry game, plus section title is up for grabs in this game. 8-1 Central comes into this game on a roll with a 3 straight winning streak after losing to Warwick. Cocalico comes into this game with a 6-3 record as well and on a 4 game winning streak. Both teams hoping to win the section and improve their playoff standings.

Key to victory– Whoever can run the ball better? Cocalico runs an option attack that is led by star fullback Anthony Bourassa. Central has a balanced spread attack, but they want to run the ball as well. Whoever runs it better in this match-up should have a leg up in this game.

One more note: My pafootballnew.com colleague CJ Frederick will be at this game covering it. You can follow him on Twitter at @carljfred

3) Manheim Township at Wilson– Another great match-up. If Township pulls it off they will have a share of the Section 1 title. If Wilson wins they will win the title outright. Both teams enter this game with a 6-3 record, but Wilson has not lost yet in section play.

Key to victory– Turnovers. Both teams have good offenses and solid defenses, but in a match-up like this whoever creates the most turnovers usually comes out with the victory. Wilson is a run-heavy team, but Township likes to throw it around more. This should be a good match-up of even teams.
