AN OVERTIME THRILLER!! (DuBois PA)

Saint Mary’s travelled 45 minutes to DuBois to take on the Beavers. The game was bound to be close with these teams looking to bounce back after loses the week before. The potential game of the year started with a flashy 68 yard touchdown run by Matthew Davis followed by an extra point. Landon Schrock tied it with a 15 yard rushing touchdown. Saint Mary’s caught everyone off guard with a fullback hand off to a fast number 85 (name unknown) for a 20 yard td to make it 14-7. Garret Niessl rushed for a 1 yard td to make it 14-14. 5 seconds left DuBois sent on their kicker who missed to send it to overtime. Dubois scored first with a 2 yard touchdown by Schrock DuBois made the extra point to make it 21-14. Saint Mary’s last shot fourth and goal from the 2 yard line ran to the outside and got stopped ending the game. DuBois wins 21-14.
