Archbishop Ryan’s DL Stanley Montgomery heading to Syracuse

Stanley Montgomery a rising junior at 6-3 290lb All-Catholic League 1st team OL and DL has shut his recruiting down early and after visiting the campus has chosen Syracuse as his college he will play football at. As a junior he led Ryan to a 7-4 record including a CL Blue Division title before falling to O’Hara in the CL 4A semifinals.
Other Division 1 programs offered Stanley scholarships such as UConn, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Kentucky, Wisconsin, NC State, Wake Forest and Duke University. With two more years of high school remaining Stanley is looking to repeat as CL Blue Champions and win a Catholic League and District 12 Championship as well.
