Bishop McCort Cruises Past Bald Eagle 39-6

Bishop McCort began the District 6 playoffs with a commanding 39-6 victory over Bald Eagle Area Friday night at Point Stadium.
McCort’s offense was led by RB Jonathan Delia who accumulated 129 total yards with three touchdowns (51 rushing yards 1TD, 78 receiving yards, 2TD) McCort totaled 274 yards of offense with five touchdowns.
McCort’s defense shut down Bald Eagle’s offense with two interceptions and multiple sacks and fumbles, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Overall, McCort’s defense held Bald Eagle to 144 total yards and a single touchdown which was scored in the closing seconds of the game.
Bishop McCort will play Marion Center next week in the District 6 semifinals at Point Stadium
