BLOOMSBURG – Friday marked the 63rd all-time meeting between these two teams that are separated by a mere five miles, and this time around we had a very lopsided game. The Bloomsburg Panthers (8-2) took full advantage of the winless Central Columbia Blue Jays (0-10) en route to a 46-0 shutout victory, which was Bloomsburg’s largest margin of victory over Central Columbia since 2007 when they beat the Blue Jays 42-6. Three of Bloomsburg’s touchdowns came on connections between senior quarterback Wyatt Brosious and sophomore running back Jharee Moore-Stewart. The Panthers also had a pick six on the first play of the game from junior linebacker Shane Frey. This win moves the Panthers to 8-2, their best regular season record since 2012, and the Panthers will head into the District 4 playoffs as the 4 seed. Their first round matchup will be next friday at home against Loyalsock.
