
Bloomsburg faces off with Warrior run in key PHAC-3 battle of undefeated’s tonight

3-0 Bloomsburg Panthers will be on the road in Pennsylvania Heartland Conference Division 3 contest Friday night.
Both the Panthers of Bloomsburg and the Warrior Run Defenders come into tonights clash at Defender Stadium in Turbotville on a roll. Bloomsburg comes in with a 3-0 record with wins over Danville 30-10, a shout-out win over Central Mountain 35-0 and last week a come-from-behind 35-24 win over Lewisburg.
The Panthers are led by Senior quarterback Wyatt Brosious, who has thrown for 725 yards and eight touchdowns and has thrown an interception in 2025 season on completing 43 of 67 pass attempts. Brosious also is the teams’ leading rusher with 296 yards on 57 carries and three scores. Bloomsburg has plenty of options in the passing game with Jack Katulis being the leading pass catcher 19 catches for 356 yards and two touchdowns, Krue Wedon 123 yards and eight receptions and Jharee Moore-Stewart 6 catches and 126 yards and three scores.
The Defenders are well balanced offensive machine as the rushed for 448 yards and passed for additional 409 yards. Quarterback James Keifer has completed 29 of 52 passes and four scores. Warrior Run’s leading receiver is Cohen Zechman, who a long with Denyn Beachel both caught two touchdowns each Beachel also leads the ground attack for the Defenders with 310 yards on the ground. The Warrior Run defense has forced eight turnovers in their first three games.
Warrior Run comes into Friday night’s showdown with wins over Muncy(21-7), Montgomery(24-7 and Midd-West(48-20)
The Defenders have won the last two games against Bloomsburg, including a 38-24 win last year where Keifer threw for 340 yards and four touchdowns in the win, where the Defenders outscored the Panthers 21-3 in the final twelve minutes.
