Bonner-Pendergast WR/Edge Rusher Jalil Hall pledges to West Virginia

Jalil Hall an 6-4 WR/DE Saturday night made his pledge to commit to Big 12 program West Virginia University. Jalil had a breakout year for the Friars as a junior in 2023 accumulating 36 receptions for 451 yards and 7 TDs on offense. Defensively he was a menace racking up 58 tackles, 7 sacks an interception returned for TD and 2 forced fumbles.

Other programs who offered and recruited him hard were Penn State, Maryland, Duke and Syracuse before he made the decision to commit to the Mountaineers. In 2024 Bonner-Prendergast will move to the Catholic League Red division which traditionally is made up of 6/5A programs. He’ll get to match his talents up against the likes of St. Joes Prep, Roman, La Salle and Father Judge in league play.

Other notable players currently from the Philly leagues at WVU are former SJ Prep player R-freshman LB Josiah Trotter, former Bonner R-junior CB Ayden Garnes, former Neumann Goretti R-sophomore LB Raleigh Collins and former SJ Prep WR Freshman WR Brandon Rehmann.
