DREXEL HILL, PA — It’s a good day for Penn State Football fans from Delco.

Monsignor Bonner EDGE rusher Mylachi Williams announced on his Instagram that he will be staying in Pennsylvania to continue his football career with Penn State University.

Williams had narrowed down his final five list of teams to Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame before ultimately deciding to become a Nittany Lion.

Williams, a 6’3”-215 LB EDGE rusher. helped lead Bonner to the state quarterfinals in 2022. The four star recruit will look to finish off an incredible career at Bonner with one more season before he heads to “Linebacker U” for the next four years.

Penn State’s recruiting class was listed at #7 for the Class of 2024, and adding Williams will only make that ranking go up. Williams displays great speed for his size and his able to quickly get to the quarterback and disrupt the action. He’ll have to add a bit of weight to compete at the next level, but the coaches at Penn State will take care of that with no issues. The future is bright for Williams, and as he says, “the best in PA stay in PA”.
