For the first time in five years, these two teams will be facing off against each other. The last time they played was in 2017 in the first round of the District One Playoffs where Garnet Valley won by a final score of 32-13. This game will be played between these two teams at Garnet Valley on Friday at 7:00 PM.

Central Bucks West came off of a close win over Pennridge by a final score of 19-17. Their defense has been top flight all year long. Their defensive line continues to generate pressure game in and game out. They only allowed a mere 15.8 points per game over the course of the regular season. That defense has been led by Sean Blue and Casey Smith. Both of whom have been outstanding this year. Smith was one of the players who constantly made tackles all game. On offense, they are mostly run based and have been shoving the ball down opponents’ throats. Running back Eli Bohem had a great game against Pennridge, picking up a total of 132 rushing yards on 24 carries (5.5 yard per carry). The benefit of this offense is that by running the ball, they have controlled the clock and have been able to take care of business early by doing that. This team is a dark horse candidate to win District One and have the ability to surprise other teams.

Garnet Valley just came off of strong win against Haverford, winning by a final score of 42-0. They also leaned on their strong running game as Shane Reynolds had 120 yards of 16 carries (7.5 yards per carry). Their offensive line was able to generate holes in the Haverford defensive line all night long. Garnet Valley is also very versed in the passing game as well, having wide receivers Sean Gallagher and Ndozi Okolo as well as tight end Joey Halloran. They are all extraordinarily quick and have been able to get behind opposing defenses all year long. For Garnet Valley on defense, they have gotten better as the year has gone on. They have a lockdown group in their secondary and an explosive defensive line. They do not make many mistakes and when they do, they have a lot of talent in which the Jaguars can minimize the damage. This is the most complete teams Garnet Valley has had in a long time. They are currently one of the favorites to win District One and can do significant damage on both sides of the ball.
