Coaches Corner Playoff Edition: 2A #4 Troy Trojans (District 4 #1 Seed)

This week we sat down with undefeated 2A #4 ranked Troy Trojans head coach Jim Smith as he prepares his District 4 top-seeded squad for their post-season journey.

The 10-0 Northern Tier League champ Trojans are averaging 48 points a game on offense and have allowed just 68 points all season on defense highlighted by three shutouts in their final four contests.

In the past four seasons the Trojans have been discharged from the district playoffs twice by state stalwart Southern Columbia and twice by D4 power Mount Carmel. Coach Smith and his Trojans are primed this year to challenge their Coal Region foes in search of their first District 4 title since 2013.
