Cornell Lands South Fayette’s Colton Astorino

Colton Astorino, an offensive tackle and defensive end at South Fayette High School in McDonald, is heading to the Ivy League. The 6-foot-7, 275 pound senior announced his commitment to Cornell University via his X (Twitter) account on Thursday evening.
As a junior, Astorino started at right tackle on a South Fayette team that started the regular season 6-0, but ultimately lost in the first round of the WPIAL 5A Playoffs.
Astorino had other offers from Clarion, Robert Morris, Seton Hill, Youngstown State and Bucknell, but chose his most recent offer, the Big Red.
