Class 1A
Wilmington (1) – Bye
About the Wilmington Greyhounds
Head Coach – Bradon Phillian
Record: 6-2
Last District 10 Title – 2020
What to Expect: Wilmington will attempt to win the school’s first-ever class title. The Greyhounds have won 16 District 10 championships, 14 of which came in AA and two in AAA. Wilmington is coming off another solid regular season at 6-2. The ‘Hounds are a perfect 5-0 against Class A competition and will look to win their first district crown since winning five in a row from 2016 to 2020. Wilmington is led by their rushing attack, with backs Jamie Miller (659), Chase Mitcheltree (634), Michael Mistretta (380), and Cael Kettering (296) leading the ground game. The four have combined for 22 touchdowns in eight games. The Greyhounds will have a first-round bye.
Reynolds (4) vs. Eisenhower (5)

About the Reynolds Raiders

Last District 10 Title: 2005
What to Expect: Reynolds enters the postseason after a 5-5 campaign with zero seniors on their roster. The Raiders got off to a hot 4-1 start but lost four of their last five. Gabriel Minjarez leads the Reynolds offense, rushing for nearly 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns. Ahead for the Raiders is a familiar foe in the postseason, as they’ve met Eisenhower every season since 2019. Reynolds won each postseason game from 2019-2022, including a 28-14 victory in the 2022 District 10 A final. However, the Knights turned the tables on them in 2023, eliminating Reynolds 34-8. The Raiders won the 2024 regular season contest 15-0.
About the Eisenhower Knights

Last District 10 Title: 1993
What to Expect: Eisenhower enters the postseason with a 4-6 record and will look to overcome a 15-0 loss to Reynolds in the regular season. The Knights have fallen to the Raiders in the postseason from 2019 until last year’s 34-8 victory. Logan Penley leads the ground attack for the Knights with 813 yards and eight touchdowns. Caleb Jakubczak has accounted for 1,343 yards and 12 total touchdowns.
Greenville (2) vs. Lakeview (7)

About the Greenville Trojans

Last District 10 Title: 1999
What to Expect: Greenville has gone from 1-9 to 9-1. You don’t see that every day. The Trojans dropped their season’s opening game against Wilmington (28-7). But they’ve had it rolling since then with nine straight victories, including six by the mercy rule. Nick Soldrich and Rudy Gentile lead the offense for Greenville, which will be trying to win its first district title since 1999. Soldrich has passed for 836 yards, rushed for 810, and accounted for 23 touchdowns. Gentile has a team-high 822 yards and 11 scores.
About the Lakeview Sailors
Head Coach – Blake Reddick
Record: 5-5
Last District 10 Title: 2013
What to Expect: First-year head coach Blake Reddick guided Lakeview into the playoffs. The Sailors will look to win their first District 10 title since Reddick played running back in 2013. To do so, Lakeview must overcome a 36-0 loss to Greenville, which they suffered in the regular season. Leyton Zacherl has passed for 1,415 yards and 14 touchdowns, adding 320 rushing and seven scores. Blake Skiles has a team-high 553 yards and seven scores, catching 41 passes for 805 yards and eight touchdowns. Bradon Booher has 552 rushing yards and 403 receiving with ten touchdowns.
Cambridge Springs (3) vs. Saegertown (6)

About the Cambridge Springs Blue Devils

Last District 10 Title: 2023
What to Expect: The defending District 10 champions suffered only a 17-0 loss to Greenville in the regular season and will look to defend their crown in 2024. Cambridge Springs has given up only 72 points in nine games, rushing for over 2,500 yards. Brett Kania has gained 1,228 yards and 10 touchdowns, while Jordan Washington leads the team with 15 rushing touchdowns and 740 yards. Brandon Hoover leads the team with 279 yards receiving and 400 rushing with six touchdowns.
About the Saegertown Panthers
Head Coach – James Wolfgang
Record: 6-4
Last District 10 Title: None
What to Expect: Saegertown enters the postseason for the first time since 2011 and will look to win their first playoff game since a 49-27 victory over Sharpsville in 2008. To do that, they must find a way to overcome a 36-3 defeat to Cambridge Springs earlier this year. Senior Aaron Shartle leads the Panthers offense with 929 yards and 13 touchdowns. William Shaffer has passed for 540 yards and four scores.
Class 2A
Farrell (1) vs. Seneca (4)

About the Farrell Steelers
Head Coach – Anthony Pegues
Record: 5-5
Last District 10 Title: 2023
What to Expect: Don’t let their 5-5 record fool you. Farrell deserves to be the top seed in the District 10 AA playoffs. The Steelers went down murderer’s row for the regular season as they lost to state-ranked Hickory, Sharon, and Cathedral Prep while falling to Ohio powerhouse Ursuline. Their losses to the Hornets, Tigers, and Ramblers came by one score. Farrell has cruised past its Class A and AA opponents this year. Aaron Pegues has passed for over 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns, while Juelz Johnson has gained over 1,200 yards and 18 touchdowns in nine games. Farrell is attempting to win their 4th-straight District 10 title and ninth in the last ten years.
About the Seneca Bobcats
Head Coach – Jack Corey

Last District 10 Title: None
What to Expect: Seneca returns to the district playoffs after a one-year hiatus. For example, in 2022, their opponent will be Farrell. The Bobcats hope for a better result than their 48-6 defeat in New Wilmington. Seneca is led by junior quarterback Rylan Harwood, who has passed for 445 yards and three touchdowns and leads the team in rushing for 964 yards and 17 touchdowns. Freshman Zach Moates has gained 795 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Mercyhurst Prep (2) vs. Sharpsville (3)

About the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers
Head Coach: Jeff Root
Record: 6-3
Last District 10 Title: 2007
What to Expect: Despite an 0-2 start, Mercyhurst Prep rallied to win six of its final seven games and return to the playoffs, where it will meet Sharpsville for the fourth straight season. The Lakers defeated the Blue Devils 63-13 in 2021 and 49-0 in 2023. Sharpsville beat Mercyhurst Prep 21-14 in 2022. Vinne Feliciano leads the Mercyhurst Prep offense with over 2,000 rushing yards.
About the Sharpsville Blue Devils
Head Coach – Paul Piccirilli
Record: 7-3
Last District 10 Title: 2014
What to Expect: Sharpsville enters the postseason looking to win its first district title in a decade. Again, its opening-round opponent will be Mercyhurst Prep, which ended the Blue Devils’ seasons in 2021 and 2023. Jaiden White has rushed for 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead the Blue Devils offense. Freshman Geno Currie leads the team with 15 rushing touchdowns and over 700 yards.
Class 3A
Hickory (2) – Got forfeit win against Slippery Rock (7)
About the Hickory Hornets
Head Coach – Bill Dungee
Record: 8-1
Last District 10 Title: 2023
What to Expect: Hickory has had it rolling their past four games, averaging over 57 points per game. The Hornets’ lone blemish on an otherwise perfect season was a 20-14 setback against rival Sharon on September 13. The two Mercer County foes are on a collision course to the District 10 final. Hickory defeated Sharon 14-6 last season in the AAA final. Kelvin Morrison has rushed for a team-high 1,056 yards and 18 touchdowns, while Zander Telesz has 1,262 passing yards and 19 touchdowns, coupled with 422 yards on the ground and seven scores. Jamal Calhoun has chipped in with 472 yards and six touchdowns. Jadon Phillips has 35 receptions for 604 yards and ten touchdowns. Hickory will play the winner of Fort LeBoeuf and Corry.
Sharon (1) vs. Conneaut (8)

About the Sharon Tigers

Last District 10 Title: 2019
What to Expect: Sharon has won eight straight games and is looking to return as District 10 champions for the first time since a three-peat from 2017-19. The Tigers’ defense has been dominant all season long, led by all-staters Bryson Roberson and Brodie Miller. Ike Friday has rushed for 1,208 yards and 16 touchdowns. Ethan Engelmore has passed for 1,274 yards and 13 scores while rushing 116 yards and seven touchdowns.
About the Conneaut Eagles
Head Coach – Josh Blood
Record: 5-5
Last District 10 Title: 2014
What to Expect: Conneaut enters the playoffs as the eighth seed and will face a tall task in Sharon. The Eagles are back in the postseason thanks to Joe Furgiuele, who has rushed for 1,882 yards and 20 touchdowns. Ben Easler has passed for 1,006 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Titusville (4) vs. Fairview (5)

About the Titusville Rockets
Head Coach – Mike Reynolds
Record: 6-3
Last District 10 Title: None
What to Expect: Titusville has made the playoffs with a winning record for the first time since 2016. The Rockets finished 6-4 in 2023 but did not make the postseason. 2024 has been a remarkable season for Titusville as tailback Jaxon Covell became the school’s leading rusher. Covell has rushed for 1,566 yards and 22 touchdowns. He has also caught 18 passes for 425 yards and seven scores. Ian McDonald has passed for 1,158 yards and 14 touchdowns, while Kameron Mong has a team-high 32 receptions for 452 yards and six touchdowns. Mong has also rushed for 292 yards and two touchdowns.
About the Fairview Tigers
Head Coach – Mark Sobeleski
Record: 6-3
Last District 10 Title: 1992
What to Expect: Fairview has won its first regional title since 2015. To keep things going in the playoffs. They’ll need to continue as they have been without quarterback Vinny Campoli. Carlo Cimino has passed for 451 yards and five touchdowns in relief, with Tyler Divecchio catching 21 passes for 285 yards and five touchdowns. Joey O’Reilly with 541 yards and five touchdowns. The Tigers are looking for their first playoff win since a 28-21 victory over Slippery Rock.
Corry (3) vs. Fort LeBoeuf (6)

About the Corry Beavers
Head Coach – Jeff Goodwill
Record: 8-2
Last District 10 Title: None
What to Expect: Corry completed their first winning season since 2016 and will look to win their first playoff game since a 2010 double overtime 34-31 victory over Meadville. Senior quarterback Nolan Carey leads the Beavers. Carey has passed for 1,955 yards and 25 touchdowns and rushed for 324 yards and a score. Blake Cook (554 yards), Mason Savitz (535 yards), and Keaton Frisina (386 yards) are his two wide receivers. Cook has a team-high ten touchdown receptions. It will be the ultimate contrast in styles as Beavers take on the rushing attack of Fort LeBoeuf.
About the Fort LeBoeuf Bison
Head Coach – Justin Blose
Record: 6-3
Last District 10 Title: 1990
What to Expect: Fort LeBoeuf put themselves on the map with a 29-28 victory over Region 1 champion Farrell in Week 2. Since then, the Bison got off to a 4-1 start but saw an injury to starting quarterback Dominic Walters. Fort LeBoeuf has gone 2-2 since. The Bison are led offensively by Xavier, Damian Blose, and Skyler Sadowaki. Fort LeBoeuf had to replace over 2,500 rushing yards from last season. It’s safe to say coach Justin Blose has done an outstanding job.
Class 4A
General McLane (1) – Bye
About the General McLane Lancers
Head Coach – Marshall McCormick
Record: 7-2
Last District 10 Title: 2006
What to Expect: General McLane has been looking to win its first District 10 title since 2006. The Lancers won titles in 2002, 2005, and 2006, along with a state championship in 2006. The 2024 edition features the likes of twins Isaac and Jacob Zietz, who lead the offense. Isaac has passed for 2383 yards and 33 touchdowns in nine games, adding 280 rushing yards and four scores. Jacob has caught 50 passes for 1,006 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jared Corwin has added 40 receptions for 547 yards and six touchdowns. The Lancers are 7-1 against AAAA competition, including a 35-14 win over Oil City and a 35-27 victory over Meadville, who play in a semifinal contest to see who gets the Lancers.

About the Meadville Bulldogs

What to Expect: Meadville enters the playoffs, taking on Oil City, a team they beat 42-6 on September 13. The three-time defending District 10 champions will need to knock off the Oilers and prepare for a rematch against General McLane in the AAAA title game if the Bulldogs want to repeat. The Lancers beat Meadville 35-27 on October 10. Meadville is led by their rushing attack, with Jordan Lawrence leading the way with 1,1131 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jacoby Thompson has 555 yards passed for 764, and accounted for 18 total touchdowns. Bradyn Miller has missed two games, 457 yards, and two touchdowns.
About the Oil City Oilers
Head Coach – Dan York
Record: 5-5
Last District 10 Title: 2020
What to Expect: Oil City enters the playoffs hoping to get revenge on Meadville after the Bulldogs put the mercy rule on them during a 42-6 victory at the Oil Field on September 13. 2024 has been a unique season for the Oilers as it’s been Cole Findlay and the passing that have helped diversify the once rush-heavy offense with the likes of Ethen Knox. Findlay has passed for 1,320 yards and 15 touchdowns, with his top target being De’vaughn Griffin, who has caught 30 passes for 770 yards and ten touchdowns. Steven Heise and Shia Sanchez lead the rushing attack with 479 and 356 yards, respectively.
Class 5A – With District 6, 8, and 9.
Cathedral Prep (2) vs. Dubois (3)

About the Cathedral Prep Ramblers
Head Coach – Mike Krahe
Record: 7-3
Last District 10 Title: 2023
What to Expect: Cathedral Prep will join the District 6,8,9,10 Sub-Regional bracket and play on the eastern side of the state tournament. The Ramblers have had an up-and-down season, culminating in a 5-0 start and a 3-game skid. Nevertheless, Cathedral Prep will look to make another deep postseason run. Davin Friedman has passed for 1,001 yards and 14 touchdowns. Da’Zarie Carson and Charbel Latouf have rushed for 653 and 544 yards, respectively, accounting for a combined 13 scores. Cory Allen has 250 yards reviving and three touchdowns. Montay Hollingsworth leads the team with 74 tackles.
Class 6A
McDowell (1) vs. Erie (2)

About the McDowell Trojans
Head Coach – Aaron Slocum
Record: 6-4
Last District 10 Title: 2023
What to Expect: Winning District 10 titles has become a habit for McDowell. The Trojans have won nine of the past ten crowns and will look to do the same Friday night against Erie High. The Trojans escaped with a 28-24 victory over the Royals on September 13. McDowell is led by a trio on offense: quarterback Blayze Myers, tailback Stephon Porter, and wide receiver James Zigler. Myers became the school’s all-time leading passer last week.
About the Erie High Royals
Head Coach – Andre Henderson
Record: 5-5
Last District 10 Title: 2017
What to Expect: Erie High will seek to win its first District 10 title since its inaugural season 2017. The Royals will look to avenge a 28-24 loss to McDowell on September 13. Paul Johnson, Tahjae Thomas, Markel Pope, and Marqwan Darnell led the Erie High Offense.
