DuBois 45, Cathedral Prep 42
Dubois won their first playoff game in 28 years, stunning Cathedral Prep 45-42 in their backyard Friday night in Erie. It hadn’t been since a 24-0 victory over Hollidaysburg in 1996 that Beavers had tasted a postseason win. Ironically, the Golden Tigers will be Dubois’s next opponent. The Ramblers had no answer for the Dubois offense, as they scored on six of their first seven possessions. The Beavers led 31-21 at halftime and took a 45-21 lead in the fourth quarter when Trey Wingard threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Carter Vos. Cathedral Prep scored three consecutive touchdowns as Davin Friedman three of his four touchdown passes during that rally. Friedman completed 18 of 27 passes for 322 yards and four touchdowns in the game. Matt Oblich caught six passes for 125 yards and a touchdown, while Griffin Potts caught a pair of touchdowns. Corey Allen ran for 161 yards and scored a touchdown for the Ramblers. Wingard threw three touchdowns and completed 16 of 28 passes for 201 yards. Vosl, who caught touchdowns of 22 and 14 yards, caught a team-high six balls for 94 yards. Danny Dixon rushed for a team-high 154 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown, while Wingard scored a rushing touchdown. Tyler Hanzely returned a fumble six yards for the other Beavers touchdown.
Sharon 65, Conneaut 6
Sharon led 49-0 at halftime and cruised past Conneaut into the semifinals, 65-6 Friday night in New Wilmington. Ethan Engelmore passed for three touchdowns, and Ike Friday rushed for three to lead the Tigers. Friday scored on runs of 4,8 and 2 yards, all in the first quarter, while Engelmore threw touchdowns of 5 yards to Bryson Roberson, 12 yards to Terrian White, and 12 yards to Ra’Keem Hughes. White also added a 3-yard run in the second quarter. Engelmore completed 9-of-12 passes for 126 yards, and Friday rushed for a game-high 122 yards on seven carries. Xavier Wilbon-Venable scored on a 32-yard run in the second half, while Kenyon Smith caught a 5-yard touchdown from Ja’Ziah Abram for the Tigers. Sharon also added a safety and will now play Titusville in the semifinal. Wyatt Luke caught a 27-yard touchdown from Ben Easler for the Eagles touchdown.
Titusville 33, Fairview 0
Titusville got defensive to win its first playoff game in 35 years. The Rockets scored two defensive touchdowns en route to a 33-0 victory over Fairview. Blake Ross and Ian McDonald returned interceptions for touchdowns, while Ross added an offensive fumble recovery in the end zone. Kameron Mong ran a 59-yard touchdown for Titusville and finished the night with 76 yards on five carries. Jaxon Covell added a 27-yard run and rushed for a game-high 104 yards on 13 carries. Covell now has the single-season rushing record in Titusville with 1,650 yards. Joey O’Reilly ran for 87 yards to lead Fairview. Titusville will now play Sharon. The Tigers won the regular season contest 63-22.
Hickory 1, Slippery Rock 0
Hickory earned a 1-0 forfeit victory over Slippery Rock and will now play Corry in the semifinal.
Corry 9, Fort LeBoeuf 6
Zach Turben’s 37-yard field goal with nine seconds left in regulation gave Corry a dramatic 9-6 victory over Fort LeBoeuf. Turben’s kick hit the upright and bounced over. Corry avenged a 19-13 loss to the Bison on September 6. The Beavers took a 7-0 lead when Blake Cook caught an 11-yard pass from Nolan Carey in the second quarter. Carey completed 14 of 26 passes for 104 yards. Fort LeBoeuf tied the game when Damian Blose scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter. Dominic Walters returned from injury to start at quarterback for the Bison and led the team with 100 yards rushing, with Blose adding 88.
McDowell 28, Erie 14

Reynolds 26, Eisenhower 21
Gabriel Minjarez scored on a 5-yard run with 34 seconds to play, lifting Reynolds to a dramatic 26-21 victory over Eisenhower. Read the full game recap here.
Greenville 28, Lakeview 7
Greenville rushed for 377 yards and knocked off Lakeview for the second time this season, 28-7, Saturday night. The Trojans defeated the Sailors 36-0 on October 4. Rudy Gentile rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns to lead Greenville. Gentile scored on runs of 11 and 14 yards. Nick Soldrich, who ran for 108 yards, opened the scoring on a 5-yard run late in the first quarter. Brayden Booher ran for a team-high 129 yards on 21 attempts.
Cambridge Springs 46, Saegertown 7
Cambridge Springs rolled past Saegertown for the second time this season and earned a rematch with Greenville in the District 10 A semifinals. The Blue Devils beat the Panther 36-3 on September 13. Brett Kania rushed for 223 yards and four touchdowns to lead Cambridge Springs. Brandon Hoover and Morgan Applebee also ran touchdowns. Jordan Washington added 172 yards rushing. Aaron Shartle rushed for 97 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown to lead Saegertown.
Farrell 44, Seneca 7
Farrell scored 29 straight first-half points and rolled past Seneca 44-7 Saturday night. Read the full game recap here.
Sharpsville 35, Mercyhurst Prep 31
Sharpsville pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in District 10 playoff history. They erased a 31- 13 fourth-quarter deficit and came back to stun the Lakers 35-31. Aiden Puskar’s 28-yard touchdown pass from Aiden Cadman with 17 seconds left following a successful onside proved the winning score. The Blue Devils had pulled to within 31-28 when Geno Currie scored on a 9-yard run with 1:05 to play following a 50-yard drive. Rylan Piccirilli then executed the onside kick, with Sharpsville taking over at the Lakers’ 44-yard line with 1:01 remaining. Clay Wojtecki scored his second touchdown of the second half on an 8-yard run with 10:34 to play, giving Mercyhurst Prep the 31-13 lead. Wojtecki added a 2-yard run in the third quarter. Vinnie Feliciano scored on first-half touchdown runs of 61 and 80 yards and rushed for a game-high 267 yards on 24 carries. Carson Mertz booted a 27-yard field goal, giving the Lakers a 16-13 halftime lead. Jaiden White caught touchdowns for 26 and 73 yards in the first half for Sharpsville. Geno Currie led the Blue Devils with 155 yards on 26 carries. Sharpsville will play Farrell for the District 10 AA title at Hickory next Saturday night.
Meadville 27, Oil City 20
In overtime, Meadville survived Oil City 27-20 to advance to the District 10 title game against General McLane. The game was far from the Bulldogs’ 42-6 victory over the Oilers on September 13. Jacoby Thompson’s 9-yard run in the extra session proved the difference. Meadville’s defense then held Oil City on downs to preserve the win. Dawan Cruz scored on a 3-yard run with 1:22 to play for the Oilers to force overtime. Oil City failed on a 2-point conversion for the lead. Cruz’s 2-yard run in the second quarter gave Oil City a 6-0 lead. Meadville scored two touchdowns in the final 2:15 of the first half to take a 14-6 lead into the locker room. Jordan Lawrence scored on an 8-yard run followed by an Amari Grenaway interception, leading to Thompson’s 4-yard run with 40 seconds remaining in the half. Cruz threw a 48-yard touchdown pass on a halfback option, tying the game at 14. Cruz finished the night with 205 yards rushing for the Oilers. A.J. Feleppa threw a 36-yard touchdown to Thompson to give the Bulldogs the lead back at 20-14. Lawrence ran for 141 yards to lead Meadville.
