Corry (2-0) 42, Warren (0-2) 6

Nolan Carey completed 11 of 17 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns as Corry improved to 2-0 on the season. Blake Cook caught four passes for 87 yards and a touchdown, and Nick Lesher rushed for 53 yards and scored on a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs. Will Allen and Connor Sterling also scored on 44 and 49-yard touchdown receptions from Carey. Lamech Albers scored a rushing touchdown for Corry, who led 35-0 at halftime. Tyler Anderson scored Warren’s first touchdown of the season with a 33-yard run in the fourth quarter.


Conneaut 33, (2-0) Iroquois 21 (1-1)

Joe Furgiuele and Ben Easler combined to score four times as Conneaut moved to 2-0 for the first time since 2017 with a 33-21 win over Iroquois. The Braves opened the scoring when Cole Bennett tossed a 58-yard touchdown to Ethan Alderson. However, Iroquois couldn’t keep pace with the Eagles, who scored four consecutive touchdowns. Alderson caught eight passes for 168 yards. Aiden Ford rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown, while Wyatt Luke had a 32-yard receiving score for Conneaut. Easler passed for 137 yards and ran for 56, scoring three total touchdowns. Furgiuele had 223 total yards and a touchdown.

Hickory 40, (2-0) University Prep 14

Kelvin Morrison rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns, while Zander Telesz completed 9-of-16 passes for 157 yards, including a Sebastian Bromley, to lead Hickory past University Prep. Jamal Calhoun added 89 yards rushing and a 2-yard touchdown run, while Telesz chipped in with 53 yards rushing and a pair of rushing touchdowns.


Cathedral Prep 33, (2-0) Sharon (1-1) 7

DaZaire Carson rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns while also recovering a fumble in the end zone to lead the Ramblers to a 33-7 victory over Sharon. Joseph Himes and Ramir Wallace scored rushing touchdowns of 5 and 18 yards, respectively. Ethan Englemore ran a 20-yard touchdown for Sharon, who led 7-6 at halftime, but they outscored 27-0 in the second half by the Ramblers. Ike Friday had 148 yards rushing for the Tigers.


Grove City 13, (2-0) Fairview (1-1) 6

Jaxyn Wilson rushed for 132 yards, and Nathan Greer added a 93-yard fumble return for a touchdown to lead Grove City to a 13-6 victory over Fairview. Danny Lindenberger booted two field goals for the Tigers.

Oil City 29, (1-1) Mercyhurst Prep (0-2) 13

Cole Findlay passed for 206 yards and three touchdowns to lead Oil City. De’Vaughn Griffin caught an 84-yard touchdown from Findlay 56 seconds into the contest to open the scoring. Griffin late caught a 33-yard touchdown from Findlay, who also tossed a score to Gavin Stephens. Everett Cotterill threw a 55-yard touchdown to Vinny Feliciano. Dawan Cruz added a 13-yard scoring run for the Oilers. Feliciano added an 83-yard touchdown run for the Lakers.


Seneca 32, (2-0) North East (0-2) 19

Seneca sent three rushers over the century mark as Isaiah Cadden, Zach Moats, and Rylan Harwood ran for 102, 112, and 103 yards, respectively. Harwood scored a rushing touchdown while Moats crossed the goal line twice. Dominic Buscemi caught two passes for 62 yards and a touchdown. Harwood added an interception return for a touchdown. Bryson Galloway completed 8-of-19 passes for 136 yards with a touchdown while rushing for 65 yards and two scores to lead the Pickers.


General McLane 47, (1-1) Harbor Creek (1-1) 19

Isaac Zietz completed 14 of 16 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns, while Jacob Zietz caught six passes for 130 yards and score. Jared Corwin caught two balls for 90 yards and a score. Portland Mitchell, Corwin, Isaac Zietz, Teige Berger, and Cohen Beachly each scored rushing touchdowns for the Lancers. Berger and Cohen ran for 55 and 54 yards, respectively. Tyshawn Jones rushed for 48 yards and scored twice to lead Harbor Creek. Heath Betza completed 5-of-11 passes for 42 yards and scored a rushing touchdown for the Huskies.


Lakeview 12, (2-0) Mercer (1-1) 0

Lakeview outgained Mercer 276-73 in total offensive yards and moved to 2-0 on the season. Blake Skiles caught a 15-yard touchdown from Leyton Zacherl in the first quarter, followed by Owen Reynolds scoring on a 2-yard run with 6:18 to play in the third quarter. Skiles caught five passes for 62 yards, while Brayden Booher rushed 19 times for 122 yards, catching one pass for 51 to lead the Sailors. Parker Puskar ran for 27 yards, and Rider Chiappini passed for 28 yards for the Mustangs.


Eisenhower 14, (1-1) Saegertown (0-2) 13

Caleb Jakubczak ran for 120 yards, returned a kickoff for a touchdown, and threw a touchdown pass as Eisenhower held off Saegertown. Jakubczak tossed a 13-yard Tanner Lookenhouse to open the scoring. Reese Wilkinson scored on a 4-yard run for the Panthers. Aaron Shartle gave Saegtertown the lead with a 3-yard run, but Jakubczak returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. Wilkinson led the Panthers with 15 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown.


Cochranton 21, (1-1) Union City (0-2) 7

Cochranton rebounded from a 40-6 loss to Iroquois last week with a 21-7 victory over Union City. Walker Carroll threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to Trent Hoban and returned a punt 53 yards for a score, giving the Cardinals a 14-0 lead after a quarter. Cole Schmitt threw a 10-yard touchdown to C.J. Shorts. Austin Brown scored on a 20-yard touchdown run for Union City and ran for 153 yards on 25 carries.


Reynolds 35, (2-0) Maplewood (1-1) 12

Gabe Minjarez and Xavier Zachrich had over 100 rushing yards as Reynolds downed Maplewood 35 on Friday. Minjarez rushed for a game-high 189 yards and a touchdown. Zachrich ran for 110 yards and returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Zachrich also threw a 45-yard touchdown to Parker Nay. Kyle Jordan scored a rushing touchdown and threw for 106 yards to lead the Tigers.


Greenville 25, (1-1) Sharpsville (1-1) 13

Nick Solderich completed 3-of-5 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns – connecting with Justin Schell from 16 and 62 yards out. Solderich also rushed for 80 yards on five carries. Logan Bromley scored on a 22-yard run for the Trojans. Rudy Getile added 64 yards on the ground with a 35-yard score. Aiden Puskar scored on a 46-yard pass from Aiden Cadman, and Geno Currie added an 8-yard for Sharpsville. Jaiden White rushed for 92 yards for the Blue Devils.


Hubbard 39, Wilmington (1-1) 7

Alex Hackwelder threw five touchdowns as Hubbard rolled past Wilmington 39-7 Friday night. Hackwelder completed 19-of-24 passes for 319 yards. Jamie Miller scored on a 3-yard run for the Greyhounds with 6:55 remaining. Miller rushed for 85 yards to lead Wilmington.


Cambridge Springs 32 (2-0), Northwestern (0-2) 0

The Blue Devils rushed for 283 yards and four touchdowns despite only completing one pass, improving to 2-0 with a 32-0 shutout of Northwestern. Jordan Washington rushed for 88 yards and two scores, while Brett Kania had a team-high 130 yards on 13 attempts. Morgan Applebee rushed for 23 yards and a score while completing 1-of-6 passes for 19 yards. Braden Swift completed 12 of 20 passes for 113 yards with an interception. The Wildcats were limited to a yard rushing.


Erie 56 (1-1), Shaw 6

Paul Johnson completed 17 of 22 passes and accounted for 310 yards of total offense as Erie High routed Shaw (OH) 56-6 Friday night. The win improves the Royals to 1-1 on the season.


Fort LeBoeuf 29, (1-1) Farrell (0-2) 28

Dominic Walters scored on a 76-yard run and ran in the subsequent 2-point conversion with three minutes to play, giving Fort LeBoeuf a shocking 29-28 victory over Farrell. The Bison trailed 28-13 in the fourth quarter. Juelz Johnson had another monster game for the Steelers, rushing for 332 yards and three touchdowns.


Meadville 48, (2-0) Connellsville 41

Meadville rallied from a 21-6 deficit and eventually outlasted Connelsville 48-41 in overtime. Jacoby Thompson scored on a 5-yard run in the fourth overtime and then came up with the game-winning interception. Thompson rushed for 107 yards and four touchdowns and passed for 101 yards. Caden Matthews passed for 327 yards and five touchdowns for the Falcons. Jordan Lawrence added 84 yards and two touchdowns. Tymir Phillips had 77 receiving yards and one touchdown.


Walsh Jesuit 47, McDowell (1-1) 21

Despite leading 7-0 after a quarter, McDowell couldn’t hang with Walsh Jesuit as the Warriors scored 28 points in the second quarter to take control of the game. Regardless of the outcome, Trojans quarterback Blaze Myers passed for 209 yards and placed third on McDowell’s all-time list for passing yards, surpassing Ben Moore. Walsh Jesuit quarterback Keller Moten completed 7-of-19 passes, three of which went for touchdowns. Sean Scott rushed for 199 yards for the Warriors.

Slippery Rock 38, (1-1) Franklin (0-2) 7

Fred Campagna passed for 319 yards and four touchdowns to lead Slippery Rock to their first victory. Caiden Mincer rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown for the Knights.

Titusville 40, (1-1) Girard (0-2) 0

Jaxon Covell rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 carries to lead Titusville to their first victory following a 28-22 loss against Corry a week ago. Covell also threw a 69-yard touchdown pass to quarterback Ian McDonald, who returned the favor with a 78-yard pass touchdown pass to Covell, who finished the night with 87 yards on two receptions. McDonald completed 9-of-14 passes for 134 yards while adding 57 on the ground.
