Austintown-Fitch 28 Erie 0

Erie was unable to get anything going as the Royals were limited to 96 yards of total offense, and they fell to 0-3 on the season. Collin Kalaher completed 13 of 16 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Falcons. Junie Higgs ran for 118 yards and 12 carries, scoring Fitch’s other touchdown.

Chardon 26 McDowell 9

Andrew Cole and Drew Platz each scored on 2-yard runs in the second half as Chardon pulled away from McDowell 26-9. Jordan Higham connected on a 29-yard field goal, while Jayden Bush returned a fumble 13 yards for a touchdown for the Hilltoppers. The Trojans drop to 0-3 with the loss.

Warren 14 Franklin 6

The Dragons stopped their 24-game losing streak with a hard-fought 14-6 victory over Franklin Friday night. Chris Korbar earned his first career victory, as Warren won for the first time since a 42-17 win over Titusville in 2022. Aden Eger scored on a 1-yard run late in the first quarter for the Dragons, and Ayden Corbett’s 48-yard run put them ahead 14-3 after three quarters. Connor Ritchey booted field goals of 27 and 29 yards for the Knights.

Fort LeBoeuf 31 Corry 29

Fort LeBoeuf turned Corry away on downs late in the game to preserve a thrilling 31-29 victory over the Beavers. The Bison jumped out to a 17-7 lead after the first quarter thanks to Dominic Walters scoring on a 1-yard run and tossing a 78-yard touchdown to Skyler Sadowski. Logan Kantz also booted a 47-yard field goal for Fort LeBoeuf. Corry scored on Lucas Baker’s 76-yard touchdown pass to Blake Cook. Bake later threw a 33-yard touchdown to Cook, pulling Corry to within 17-13. However, Walters countered with a pair of touchdown passes to Michael Vommaro, covering 44 and 25 yards, giving the Bison a 31-13 halftime lead. Bake added two second-half touchdown passes of 10 yards to Keaton Frisina and 15 yards to Jack Vanchieri. Fort LeBoeuf recovered the onside, but Corry got one more shot before the Bison held on downs.

General McLane 28 Oil City 7

Matt Caro threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns to lead General McLane over Oil City. Caro threw two touchdowns to Kyle McConnell, who finished the night with 73 yards on three receptions. Caiden Holler added a touchdown, catching two balls for 48 yards. Cohen Beachly ran for 77 yards and a touchdown for the Lancers. Steve Heise ran for 105 yards and a touchdown for the Oilers.

North East 20 Harbor Creek 14

Bryson Galloway accounted for 226 yards of offense as North East improved to 3-0 on the season. Galloway completed 12 of 22 passes for 121 yards, including a pair of touchdowns to Carter Crozier, who had seven receptions for 58 yards. Najeh Crosby ran for 31 yards and a touchdown for the ‘Pickers. Galloway ran 18 times for a team-high 105 yards. Gavin Zillman rushed 12 times for 191 yards and a touchdown, while completing 3-of-4 passes for 62 yards and a touchdown to Nathan Vogt to lead the Huskies.

Eisenhower 34 Iroquois 0

Logan Penley rushed for four touchdowns to lead the Knights. He scored on runs of 5, 4, 3, and 5 yards. Penley had 77 yards on 17 carries. Nolan Gesing added a 3-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for the Knights. Eisenhower improves to 2-1 on the season, while the Braves fall to 1-2.

Girard 32 Fairview 26

Girard overcame a 19-18 deficit entering the fourth quarter with a pair of touchdowns to knock off Fairview 32-26. Ryan St. Julian threw for a touchdown and ran a 7-yard score that put the game away for the Yellowjackets. Fairview pulled to within 32-26 on Jeremiah Bennett’s touchdown to Logan Pustelak-Heynes. The two also hooked up for a third-quarter touchdown pass. The Tigers took a 19-18 lead into the fourth quarter thanks to Caden Oldach’s 28-yard touchdown run. Girard led 18-7 at halftime.

Hickory 55 Conneaut 7

Hickory built a 49-0 lead at halftime and rolled past Conneaut Friday night. Christian Dungee threw four touchdown passes, including a pair of 39-yard scores to Jadon Phillips in the first quarter. He also threw scores to Dante Evans of 20 yards and a 33-yarder to Trevor Borowicz. Marzair Gardlock chipped in with a 30-yard run, while Kelvin Morrison added a 9-yard run. Aidan Ford got the Eagles on the board with a 7-yard run.

Saegertown 26 Lakeview 22

William Shaffer accounted for four total touchdowns as Saegertown squeaked by Lakeview 26-22 Friday night. Shaffter threw touchdowns of 65 and 36 yards to Milan Harrison, while scoring on runs of 3 and 6 yards. Remington Marsh scored on a 2-yard run for the Sailors and added a 75-yard kickoff return while intercepting a pass on defense. Gavin Schell scored the other Lakeview touchdown on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Greenville 42 Cambridge Springs 13

Rudy Gentile ran 12 times for 152 yards and four touchdowns to lead Greenville past Cambridge Springs. Gentile scored on runs of 5, 2, 11, and 79 yards, while Cael Thurber completed 5-0f-7 passes for 146 yards and two to Justin Schell; his 48-yard touchdown pass to Schell came with 13 seconds to play in the first half. The duo connected on a 4-yard score in the third quarter that gave Greenville a 35-7 lead. Gentile’s 79-yard run evoked the mercy-clock in the third quarter. Brett Kania scored on a 1-yard run for the Blue Devils, while Brandon Hoover added a 15-yard scoring jaunt.

Brookfield 46 Sharpsville 21

Geno Currie ripped off 169 yards and three touchdowns on the ground for Sharpsville, but it wasn’t enough as the Blue Devils fell to Brookfield (OH) 46-21 Friday night.

Cochranton 30 Maplewood 14

Cochranton continued its strong start to its 2025 campaign as it downed Maplewood 30-14 Friday night. Brayden Williams opened the scoring for the Cardinals with a 12-yard run. The Tigers tied it on Kyle Jordan’s 8-yard run. Quarterback Noah Carroll then tossed a 55-yard completion to Garrett Irwin before connecting with J.J. Walker on a 10-yard pass to put Cochranton ahead 14-6 at halftime. Williams and Jordan then exchanged rushing touchdowns before Walker Carroll returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown to put the game on ice for the Cardinals.

Grove City 34 Titusville 16

The Eagles jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter, following Gavin Purdy’s 4-yard run and Drake Moore’s 34-yard fumble recovery. Jaydin O’Neill caught a 53-yard touchdown for the Rockets in the second quarter and added a 2-yard rush in the third quarter. But the Eagles scored three touchdowns in the second half to put the game on ice as Purdy scored his second rushing touchdown on a 14-yard run, while Jaxyn Wilson added an 8-yard run. Wilson rushed for a game-high 102 yards. Levi Toth caught a 62-yard touchdown pass from Heath Hohman for Grove City. Brody Sellen threw for 195 yards for Titusville.

Sharon 49 Slippery Rock 6

Terrian White rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown to lead Sharon over Slippery Rock. Ghafir Lampkins scored three rushing touchdowns and passed for 74 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown to Bishop Root. Logan Perks scored on a 1-yard run for the Tigers, while Xavionne Wilbon also added a rushing score. Sharon led 21-6 at halftime. Zach Lasko kicked a pair of field goals for the Rockets.

Farrell 1, Ursuline 0

The Steelers earned a forfeit victory over Ursuline Friday night.

Wilmington 55 Northern Bedford 22

The Greyhounds rushed for 390 yards en route to a 55-22 rout of District 5’s Northern Bedford. Cam and Cael Kettering combined for 219 yards and three touchdowns, with Cael having 157 yards on only five carries and scoring on runs of 48 and 49 yards. Cam’s 49-yard run gave the ‘Hounds a 7-3 first-quarter lead, which they never looked back on. Rowan Miller added a pair of touchdown runs of 1 and 70 yards. Chase Mitcheltree scored on a 35-yard run and a 19-yard pass from Miller. Cameron Williams also scored on a 3-yard run for Wilmington.

Butler 48 Meadville 34

Nico Baggetta accounted for six total touchdowns and 345 yards of offense as Butler downed Meadville.

Mercyhurst Prep 56 Northwestern 12

Vinnie Feliciano rushed for 200 yards and five touchdowns, but was ejected in the Lakers’ victory over the Wildcats. He had scoring runs of 70, 16, 4, 46, and 18 yards. Mercyhurst Prep led 50-6 at halftime. Eyon Ellman-Sparks and Tyler Quinn also scored for the Lakers. Ayden Bird scored on a 6-yard run for Northwestern, and Joe Holdsworth returned an interception for a touchdown.

Reynolds 32 Mercer 0

The Raiders limited the Mustangs to 75 yards rushing, while Xavier Zachrich accounted for 254 yards rushing and three touchdowns as Reynolds improved to 3-0. Parker Nay had eight carries for 113 yards along with 67 yards receiving. Gabe Minjarez added 69 yards on the ground.

Riverside 26 Cathedral Prep 7

The Ramblers dropped their first game of the season against Riverside (OH). Cathedral Prep scored on a touchdown pass from Davin Friedman to Matthew Oblich. Friedman completed 18-of-38 passes for 187 yards and added 66 on the ground. Gavin Easter caught nine passes for 106 yards, while Oblich hauled in six balls for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Seneca 30 Union City 0

Rylan Harwood and Dalton Boyd combined to throw for 106 yards and three touchdowns, while Harwood added a rushing score as Seneca blanked Union City Saturday afternoon. Harwood threw touchdown passes of 39 yards to Donavon Huzinec and 21 yards to Dominic Buscemi and scored on a 25-yard run, giving the Bobcats a 23-0 halftime lead. Seneca improves to 2-1 on the season.
