District 12 College Football Players in the NCAA Division II & III Playoffs

The following players from District 12 playing at the Division II & Division III levels are heading to the playoffs as both division playoff brackets were revealed Sunday evening.

At the Division 2 level there are 3 schools that currently have D12 and Inter-Ac players on the roster participating in the playoffs:

Slippery Rock: Earned the #4 Seed in Super Region 1 and will host East Stroudsburg Saturday at noon.

So. QB Zaire Hawkins (West Catholic): Thrown for 83 yards & 2 TDs as the backup quarterback.

Kutztown: Earned the #3 Seed in Super Region 1 & will host Virginia Union Saturday at noon.

Sr. LB Jalen DeVose (La Salle College): Made 21 tackles, 2 sacks & 1 interceptions.

R-So. RB Noble House (St. Joes Prep)

R-Fr. DB Amir Anderson (La Salle College)

R-So DB Noah Kensey (Roman Catholic):

R-Sr. DL Earl Volz (Father Judge): 25 tackles & 1 sack on the season.

East Stroudsburg: Earned an at-large bid after finishing the season 8-3 & travels to Slippery Rock

R-Sr. DE Deshawn McCarthy (Northeast): 29 tackles & 6 sacks.

R-Fr. RB Mason Peterson (Bonner-Prendie): 121 rushing yards

Jr. LB Symear Williams (Imhotep): 11 tackles

R-Sr. FB Adrian Lambert (Archbishop Wood)

R-So. DB Jalen Hanton (La Salle College)

R-So. DB Amir Shields (Northeast)

Fr. LB Sean McFadden (La Salle College)

Fr. OL AJ Dilks (Archbishop Carroll)

R-Fr. DL Myles Reynolds (Bonner-Prendie)

In Division 3 there are 3 PA schools going dancing who earned berths into the D3 Playoffs. Delaware Valley (9-1), Susquehanna (10-0) & Grove City (10-0). Mount Union (OH) who went 10-0 and won the OAC conference as well as John Hopkins University (10-0) & Ithaca (8-2) earned playoff berths and have former D12/Inter-Ac players on their teams.

Delaware Valley: The Aggies will host Union College Saturday at noon.

Jr. S Darius Nichols (Roxborough) 38 tackles, 2 fumble recoveries.

Sr. WR Ryan Loughlin (Archbishop Wood): 16 receptions 235 yards & 1 TD.

Sr. RB Kyle Powell (Abraham Lincoln): 49 carries 202 yards & 1 TD.

Jr. DB Dacare Smith (Northeast)

So. LB Hakim Jones (Roman Catholic)

So. OL A.J. Snowden (Conwell Egan): Starting OL

So. WR Dillon Shamanow (Archbishop Ryan): 6 receptions 179 yards 1 TD.

Fr. DL Chris Bressi (Neumann Goretti)

So. DL Imani Bell (Archbishop Ryan)

Jr. RB Deshawn Wiggins (Central)

Susquehanna: Finished undefeated as the Landmark Conference champions. They’ll host Grove City Saturday at noon.

So. DB Brennen Miller (La Salle College)

Fr. DL Darrion Rascoe (Springside-Chestnut Hill Academy)

Grove City: Finished undefeated and PAC champions. They’ll travel to Susquehanna Saturday at noon.

Jr. CB Jack Steinmetz (Malvern Prep)

Mount Union: Finished 10-0 and the OAC champions. They’ll host Alfred State Saturday at noon.

Fr. WR Darius Hill (Abraham Lincoln)

Fr. Spur Rakeem Mills (Abraham Lincoln)

John Hopkins: Finished 10-0 as Centennial champions and will host Western Connecticut State Saturday at noon.

Sr. DB Zach Bouggess (St. Joes Prep)

Ithaca: Finished 8-2 as Liberty Conference champions and will travel to Springfield Saturday at noon.

Sr. WR Jake Ross (Archbishop Wood)

Fr. QB Colin Schumm (William Penn Charter): Thrown for 716 yards & 4 TDs while rushing for 3 more TDs

Fr. DB Cam Paquette (Malvern Prep): 3 interceptions including 1 returned for a touchdown.
