District 12 lands 7 players on the PA Writers All-State 6A Team

St. Joe’s Prep dominated most of their games as they won the PA 6A state title. With winning the state title comes awards and today 4 Hawks were named to the 6A All State team led by PA Player of the Year Jr. QB Samaj Jones who finished the season with 2525 yards & 32 TD passes while adding 740 yards & 14 scores on the ground. His main target Jr. WR David Washington (699 yards & 7 overall TDs) was also named to the all-state team. Other hawks who were recognized were Sr. LB Josiah Trotter (WVU) who finished the season with 68 tackles on the season, 1.5 sacks and1 interception returned for a TD. Sr. LB Cole Nilles (Air Force) also all-state honors after leading the Hawks in tackles with 82, and sacks 4. Jr. CB Omillio Agard and Jr. DB Anthony Sacca (50 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception) round out the Hawks who were honored. Also, from District 12 who earned honors were Northeast Jr. Athlete Kahmir Prescott who amassed over 2000 all-purpose yards via rushing, receiving, kick/punt return, fumble & interception returns. South Philadelphia Sr. Razan Parker rounds out the D12 players who were nominated to the all-state 6A team after leading the Rams in total yards & scores with 1520 yards & 22 overall scores.
