Friday, October 31, 2025:
Cameron County (6-4) @ Union-AC Valley (9-1) – 7:00 pm
Union-AC Valley defeated Cameron County 36-12 earlier this year. The Falcon Knights are coached by Dan Reed. UACV is led by running backs Max Gallagher and Logan Sibinski, and freshman QB Andrew Kifer. Gallagher has galloped for 1,081 yards and 17 TDs. Skibinski has darted for 898 yards and 15 scores. Kifer has thrown for 1,232 yards and 7 touchdowns. UACV has scored 298 points while limiting opponents to 112. Gallagher also heads up the defense. He has 107 tackles thus far.
Cameron County’s Red Raiders are coached by Ryan Neyman. They have scored 294 points and allowed 191. Offensively, they are led by Malakai Zucal and running back Kamden Fragale. Zucal does a bit of everything. He has run for 703 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has thrown for 255 yards and 4 scores. As a receiver he’s caught 14 passes for 155 yards and 3 TDs. Fragale has rushed for 797 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has grabbed 17 passes for 238 yards and a trio of scores. On defense, Brody Artman is the man with 99 tackles.
Perry Traditional (1-7) @ Central Clarion (6-4) (Brockway HS) – 7:00 pm
The Central Clarion Wildcats are the 2024 state Class 2A runnersup. They are coached by Dave Eggleton and have scored 279 points while giving up 167 so far in 2025. Carter Hindman, Ethan Rex, and Mason Burford lead the offense. Hindman, the sophomore QB, has passed for more than 1,000 yards and 11 TDs. Burford is his favorite receiver, catching 34 tosses for 519 yards and 3 scores. RB Ethan Rex has scooted around the field for 719 yards and 10 touchdowns. Charlie Hepfl has made 115 tackles on defense for Central Clarion.
The Perry Commodores are coached by Stephen Hale, Sr. Perry has been outscored this year 298-62. Other than WR Deonte Herring, an all-city selection in 2024, not much is known about Perry who hails from the Pittsburgh City League.
University Prep (7-2) @ Clearfield (7-3) (Brookville HS) – 7:00 pm
Clearfield beat University Prep 34-24 last year in the playoffs in a very competitive contest. The UP Wildcats are coached by Lou Berry. They have outscored their opposition 325-111 in the current year. There are no stats available but the Wildcats have a couple dynamic players in QB Dai’Mere Adair and WR Zion Hauser. Adair threw for 229 yards and had 2 TD passes to Hauser in last week’s City League final, a 26-0 victory over state ranked Westinghouse.
Clearfield is coached by Myles Caragein. Clearfield’s offense is led by QB Xavier Curry, RB Colton Ryan, and WR Cooper Broad. Curry has thrown for 1,183 yards and 10 scores. Ryan has raced for 1,266 yards and 18 touchdowns. Broad has 28 receptions for 562 yards and 6 TDs. Ryan has 109 tackles for the Bison defense. The Clearfield Bison have been involved in 7 one-score games this year, but have outscored opponents 265-185.
Mifflin County (6-4) @ DuBois (6-4) – 7:00 pm
Shane Breon is the head coach for the Mifflin County Huskies. Mifflin County has scored 175 points and given up 150. QB Chase Hartung has thrown for over 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns to lead the offense of the Huskies. On defense, Gavin Herrington and Brayan Aurand have the most tackles.
DuBois is coached by TJ Wingard. Trey Wingard has pitched the pigskin for over 2,600 yards and 36 touchdowns. Leading receiver, Jaxson Hanzely, has hauled in 65 aerials for 1,473 yards and 20 TDs. Dalton Reasinger leads the team with 111 tackles on defense. As the offense goes so goes the Beavers. An interesting stat for this season is if DuBois scores 38 or more points they win, but if they score 35 or less they lose. The Beavers have lit up the scoreboard with 364 points, but they’ve allowed 284.
Keystone (5-5) @ Kane (8-2) – 7:00 pm
Keystone hammered Kane in the 4th game of the year 56-19 to give the Wolves one of their two losses. Four of the Panther losses have been by six points or less, and two have been by one point. Keystone has outscored their opponents to the tune of 402 to 187. Dom Corcetti is a magician at quarterback. He’s passed for 969 yards and 13 TDs, but he has rushed for 1,301 yards and 22 scores. Jim Rankin and Jake Henry lead the Keystone defense. Todd Smith is the Panther head coach.
The Wolves of Kane are coached by Matt Bodamer. They have scored 326 points while giving up 170. QB Eric Novosel and RB Evan Anderson head up the Kane offense. Novosel has tossed the rock for 1,148 yards and 11 scores, while Anderson has exploded for 1,347 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns. Isaiah Smith and Preston Darr lead the Kane ‘D’ in tackles.
Ridgway (5-5) @ Redbank Valley (6-4) – 7:00 pm
Redbank Valley beat Ridgway 32-21 in the first game of the season. The Ridgway Elkers are coached by Mark Heindl. Ridgway has tallied 282 points on offense and allowed 193 on defense. The Elkers do not throw much as they use the old single wing formation a lot. Nate Steger and Markus Gerg have combined to rush for 1,617 yards. Steger has scored 11 touchdowns on the ground and Gerg 13. Mr. Gerg leads the team with 117 tackles.
The Bulldogs of Redbank are coached by Blane Gold. He has a premier quarterback in Braylon Wagner and a top wide receiver in Jaxon Huffman. Wagner has accumulated 1,981 yards passing with 22 touchdown tosses. Huffman has 65 catches for 989 yards and 7 TDs. Easton Magagnotti and Huffman are the leading tacklers for the Bulldogs. Redbank Valley has been in a few shootouts this year as they have scored 290 points and given up 258.
Saturday, November 1, 2025:
Saint Marys (4-6) @ Brockway (6-4) (DuBois HS) – 1:00 pm
Brockway defeated St. Marys 41-27 in last year’s 3A District Nine championship and they also beat them 20-13 earlier this year. Brockway is coached by Jake Heigel. The Rovers are led on offense by QB Aiden Patton and wide receiver Caleb Daugherty. Patton has thrown for 1,857 yards and 19 TDs, while Daugherty has 38 grabs for 651 yards and 10 TDs. Defensively, Matthew Winnings leads the team in tackles. Brockway has scored 243 points but given up 253.
The St. Marys Flying Dutchmen are coached by Chris Dworek. Offensively, they are led by running back Andrew Field and QB Brody Wehler. Field has chalked up 736 yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground, while Wehler has passed for 625 yards and 10 TDs. Field also leads the defense with 82 tackles. The Flying Dutch have scored 237 points while giving up 283.
