District Nine’s Central Clarion Lands Two on the 2023 Sportswriters PA Class 2A All-State Team

Jase Ferguson and Braylon Beckwith earned spots on the sportswriters Class AA all-state squad. Ferguson quarterbacked the Wildcats to unbeaten regular season and Beckwith anchored a pretty good Central Clarion defense.

Ferguson threw for 2,698 yards in 2023 and 46 touchdowns. He also ran for 868 yards and scored 10 TDs. The junior QB now has over 7,000 career yards passing and has tossed 97 TD passes.

Beckwith led the team with 130 tackles from his linebacker position. He also recorded 6 sacks and had 19 tackles for losses of opposing ball carriers. Braylon is also only a junior.
