In a dominant showing under the Friday night lights, the Peters Township Indians continued their impressive season with a 35–0 shutout victory over the Bethel Park Black Hawks. From start to finish, the Indians controlled every phase of the game — capitalizing on turnovers, executing long scoring drives, and holding Bethel Park scoreless with a stifling defensive performance.

The Black Hawks opened the game with the football but couldn’t find any rhythm on their first possession. After a failed fake punt attempt, Peters Township took over — and wasted no time. On the very next play, Cole Neupaver burst through the defense for the touchdown! Peters jumps out to a 7–0 lead with 10:58 remaining in the first quarter.

On the next drive, Bethel Park tried to get something going, moving the ball downfield — but the momentum was short-lived. Nolan DiLucia stepped in front of a pass and came up with the interception, setting Peters up with great field position. A few plays later, it was Neupaver again, powering his way into the end zone for his second rushing touchdown of the night. Peters Township extends the lead to 14–0 with 3:03 to go in the first quarter. Bethel Park took over again and managed to run the clock out to end the quarter — but they’ll head to the second still trailing by 14.

Bethel Park opened the second quarter looking to find some life on offense, but once again came up short — turning it over on downs. Peters Township took over deep in their own territory at the 4-yard line with 10:41 left in the half. From there, the Indians went to work, controlling the clock with another long, methodical drive that chewed up over six minutes. But this time, the Bethel defense held strong, stopping Peters on fourth down to keep it a 14–0 game with 4:07 remaining in the half. In the final minutes before halftime, both teams traded possessions but couldn’t find the scoreboard again. As the clock wound down, Peters Township headed to the locker room firmly in control — leading Bethel Park 14–0 at the break.

Peters Township came out of the locker room firing on all cylinders to start the second half. On their opening drive, Nolan DiLucia capped it off by powering into the end zone, extending the Indians’ lead to 21–0 with 9:40 left in the third quarter. The Peters defense kept its foot on the gas, shutting down Bethel Park and forcing another quick stop. Back on offense, the Indians struck again — this time it was Jeremy Poletti finding paydirt to make it 28–0 with 5:52 remaining in the third.

And they weren’t done yet. Before the quarter came to a close, Lucas Rost joined the scoring party, breaking through for another Peters touchdown. As the horn sounded to end the third, the Indians were in full control — leading Bethel Park 35–0.

With a running clock in the fourth quarter and both defenses standing tall, neither side was able to add to the scoreboard. When the final whistle blew, Peters Township walked away with a dominant 35–0 victory over Bethel Park.
