
Executive Education Powers Way To 48-8 Victory Over Central Columbia

Two 0-2 teams clashed at Muhlenberg College Saturday night and Executive emerged with 265 rushing yards, 234 yards through the air and a clear-cut 48-8 victory.
Tez Whitsitt showcased his arm early, tossing a 29-yard completion to Dexter Connor, before finishing off the opening drive with a 4-yard keeper.
On their next offensive possession, it took just one play for Whitsitt to find Khobe Davis for a 60-yard bomb, making the score 13-0 with 4:40 to play in the opening stanza.
As for Central Columbia, they struggled mightily, netting just 12 yards of offense in the first quarter and only three first downs in the first half.
Meanwhile, the Raptors kept piling on. Following a long punt return being called back for a hold, Executive was backed up on their oen 10-yard line. But it took them only four plays before Whitsitt found Connor again for a 77-yard strike. The first quarter lead was 20-0 with 1:13 to go.
Whitsitt increased the lead to 27-0, running 26 yards to the end zone in the second quarter. On the ensuing possession, Dexter Connor picked off Josiah Hosler to upend another Central Columbia drive.
Late in the half, Zakai Brake crossed into Blue Jay territory and a defensive pass interference call moved the Raptors into scoring position again, but they came up just short to end the half.
On the first play of the third quarter, Yaseen Mirza exploded for a 60-yard gain and Ayden Ramos took it in from ten yards out. The two-point conversion was successful, moving the game into the mercy rule at 35-0.
On their next possession, Whitsitt took to the air one more time, finding Davis on a 29-yard completion to setup Ramos for a 4-yard rushing score.
Against the second string defense, Central Columbia managed to find the end zone. Dom Keller scored from four yards out and the two-point play made it 42-8.
The scoring was capped on a Brake 70-yard touchdown run.
The Raptors held the Blue Jays to 100 yards on the ground and 32 through the air. The longest play from scrimmage was a 14-yard completion to Eli Geedy.
