Football is Returning to Williamsburg for One Game in 2024

In 2020, the Williamsburg Blue Pirates played their last game as a team before joining a co-op with Juniata Valley. Since combining teams with the Hornets, there has only been one game played at Veterans Memorial Field in Williamsburg, which was in 2022 for the Blue Pirates senior night. That is set to change on September 20th, as Juniata Valley will host West Branch at Williamsburgs field.
At this point in the season, Juniata Valley is 1-1 and West Branch is 0-2. Both teams will play conference games in between, so their records will look different week 5. This will be a very exciting game for the borough of Williamsburg.
It is very awesome that these Juniata Valley players that attend Williamsburg will finally be able to play a game in front of their town.
