Hanover Area knew tonight was a key game for more than the reasons on the field and standings. This was more than a game. It was a sense of community. Hawkeye Stadium has seen its ups and downs recently. The Hawkeyes hadn’t played there all year last year. This year they opened the season at the stadium and tonight they did it in front of the community. Many positives like back to back victories and the longest field goal in Hanover history. Remember this…”The Hanover trio”: L. Richardson, D. Eisenbach, D. Downey.
Hanover came out swinging. Eisenbach started the 1st Quarter with 2 INTs and the Hawkeyes a 7-0 lead. It would pick up from there. Up 26 at half, 40-0 final.
